I haven't personally owned that many cars but I have driven my fair share. From driving old gt350's, gt500's, 427 cobra, contemporary classic daytona coupe, boss 302, 40 ford woody wagon, 34 ford chopped with a blown injected flathead, foxbodys, 00r, 03-04 cobras, 05 FGT, 2014 boss 302, 2016 5.0... The car I have the most fun driving is a Meyers Manx. Its so damn goofy but its a blast. You can take them off road, park them wherever you want and get fun attention. Plus with 60-70hp its pretty hard to get in too much trouble.

As most, I really enjoy the 2000 R. But I really enjoy my 95 R too. It's tamer than the 2000 but brings a great smile when I drive it. The FGT is an amazing car and will own the 2000 R from a performance and external notoriety perspective. But that's what's so cool about the Rs is the under the radar feel.

So the FGT is on one end of the spectrum, the other is an early Bronco. Hard to believe something with maybe 100 hp, doesn't turn or stop well, can be so awesome to drive.

Love the early Broncos, or any Bronco for that matter (not including Bronco II's). I have also been on the hunt for one of those myself. Prices have gone kind of crazy though, especially on the early ones.

Are you interested in a '96 Bronco 2WD Lightning conversion with true Lightning drive train?

Have 2 EB's, a 69 LUBER (lifted uncut is what that means), and a super early U13 roadster, that is extremely original, down to the original exhaust, and Cali smog pump. these are both fun to drive, and a VERY different experience than every mustang we have.

Well since I build/drive the 350R at work and own a '93R in between theses two the Terminator also gives me that "special feeling". Huge smile on my face. I just love the sound of that whine.

The opening scenes of "I am Legend" that whine sounds way better then the exhaust and the best part of that movie. Now the 00R exhaust under full throttle than down shifting and braking hard at the end of a long straight, well you have to hear it to believe it.

I wish the ford gt was affordable. That's the one dream car I really want and it's pretty much unattainable to the average person
We were fortunate to get ours when the market really bottomed out. It's crazy how much the prices have went up the past 3-4 years.

When you say bottomed out, what are we talking about dollar wise? I have been following these cars from the beginning and don't recall any significant bottom, only that the prices have continued to rise.

Gervais ford in Ayer sold 3 GTs back in 2005-6.

The first one was $50g over sticker, the second one was $25g over, and the third one was sold for sticker.
