SOLD

I'm considering selling my 86 Coupe. It's a very nice car and really fun to drive. I have two coupes and a small garage. I'm getting tired of having one of them on wheel dollies to squeeze the other one in there.

This car has been completely redone in recent years and should be extremely reliable. It made 315 at the rear wheels on a dynojet and 300 on a mustang dyno. It has been professionally tuned. It weighs just over 3000 lbs so it's surprisingly quick.

I bought it for 12.5k and I've put at least another 10 into it. I have detailed invoices from a reputable mustang shop here in NY.

I'm into the car for at least low 20's. I'm thinking I'll set the asking price at 16k. Since I’ve owned the car I’ve had the following work done:

Brand new power steering system (it came with manual steering) all new lines, pump, Maximum Motorsports steering shaft, and refurbished 1993 quick ratio steering rack. The steering and handling are very tight and precise.

Rebuilt world class T5 (new synchros, input shaft, TOB…)

New Maximum Motorsports front sway bar

New Maximum Motorsports adjustable lower control arms

New 03 Cobra differential w/ 373 gears

New Moser 31 spline axles, new studs, new rear brakes & rotors

New Flex-a-lite radiator & fan

OEM 03 Cobra 10th anniversary 17x9 wheels w/ New Nitto NT05 tires

If there isn't much interest I'll get a wider garage door and keep it.

Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks for the compliments guys! Here's an idle video:

This video is from before I put the new fox length axles in so the rear tires are sticking out farther than they do now.

The guy I bought it from is an engineer. He did the build over a bunch of years. I have the build thread for reference. He did a nice job. All the recent work since I've owned it was done by Realspeed. They did a excellent job. The car is totally reliable and fun.
