2003 Cobra. Mods are:

93 octane with Torco. Been using this fuel for years.

2.9 Whipple 3.5 upper 4lb lower.
K&N air filter stock intake tube.
Accufab throttlebody.
Id1000 injectors.
ARH 1 7/8 Headers 3" X Pipe
2.5" Bassani catback with baffles.
Ford GT Pumps with 2 FPDM's in a Fore hat.

Car made 695rwhp. Was about 70°. 11.4 air fuel is what the graph says. Not sure what timing is. The boost was at 25lbs. It seems that others are around 725rwhp with 23lbs of boost. Is the tune just really safe? Will adding a aftermarket intake tube really make that much of a difference (25-30rwhp worth)? What is the timing and air fuel normally at for these cars with similar mods?

Not knowing the timing makes it hard to tell if it's just conservative. Is this a new combo? Are you running s return system? I wouldn't think GT pumps would be enough at that level.

I'm curious about what people say about this too. I have a K&N on mine, but I have a JLT high boost intake next to the whipple on a shelf in my garage.

Thats alot of boost even with torco in my opiniom 25psi on 2.9 whipple. I would be shit scared to get a bad batch of gas.

Is the boost high or is it normal for this combo? I had thought it was going to be around 23lbs.

TRUST PETE!!!!!!

I made 700whp on his old dyno with 23.7psi with Torco( old dyno). We are still VERY VERY close

Scrap the lower pulley and go back to stock

Possibly upgrade to JLT highboost, even though Pete doesn't love it

I sure hope to god your tuner backed off timing with that much boost & that fuel you're using.
I wouldn't be surprised if its at 12, with a tight plug gap seeing 16 would be ok with pump gas, I wouldn't even think about approaching 20. 20 on E-85 would put down some power.

I can't figure out how to quote. Juice is coming straight from the battery. Think I used 10 or 12 gauge wire for it. Wiring is my specialty. Very picky about it. I was thinking it would be 715-725rwhp or so. There is a hiccup down low around 1500rpms or so. When I call tuner I'll see if he will let me know the timing.

What are those AEM 320's good for power wise? I'm just trying to figure out what the next bump in power level would be without serious mods.

With a 12ga wire you are probably dropping 0.5v with those pumps at WOT. I'd consider going bigger to get that down to 0.1v. I used a 6ga wire in my setup with 320e pumps.

2.9 Whipple here with built motor, cams, LTs, 3.5/4lb lower, etc and running pump gas with 2 cans of Torco per tank. Made 689/621. Boost was 24.5 and timing at 18*. Car could have made a little more if car was colder. Tuner says I'm at max timing for my setup. Close numbers to yours.

What Dyno? People reporting their numbers using the dyno you use at the same facility?

blah blah blah

A dyno is a good tuning tool, but don't get caught up in the numbers. It's splitting hairs expecting to get 25 whp more on a dyno. I've had greater variances on the same dyno just making additional pulls. Not to mention every dyno reads different.

if you can get it to the track and get an average MPH, you can input that along with the weight of the car and a few other factors and get a VERY accurate Horsepower figure. Dyno's can and do vary so much from place to place and dyno to dyno depending on type. was it run on a mustang dyno?
