Lol I can see why. Owning a black cobra myself I know you put a lot of love into the paint for it to look like that. What products/technique are you using?

Well the car was wet sanded and fixed by the Ford dealer that messed it up after I was rear ended. But honestly I just clay and use the turtle wax black kit and it works wonders. For just being an off the shelf product it works better than some of the other products I've had my detailer friend use. For my car having 127-8K miles I'd say it still looks great.

Managed to finally put in the second front A-arm. This time the process was way smoother than the experience I had with the driver's side a couple weeks ago.

Car now does absolutely drive like crap. I need to get it aligned.

After replacing my front A-arms - my car feels terrible. It wobbles - pulls the right - and just all around feels like it is just crap.

Had an alignment scheduled for today at 1PM. So I drove to work, and found the floor at our office had completely flooded due to a busted pipe. So I call the shop to see if I can get the alightment done sooner - they said yes. Drove by at 10AM hoping to get the work done and then head home to finish my workday.

I thought it was all going to be cool - they get the car on the lift and inspect it, and refuse to do the repair because the strut tower mount on the passenger side had too much play. I beg they do the Toe adjustment at least - just for now but they refuse. They tell me I need caster/camber plates. I have been wanting them since the alignment was never to spec without them, but this was all unplanned.

Well - it drives like crap - so it's got to be fixed. Drive to Dallas Mustangs and get a set. Not MM - but hopefully good enough. Don't really want to work on it, so take it back to the shop that refused the work. Hand them the parts. The guy here seems to be good at working with Mustangs so I figure even though it is hurting my wallet - my car should hopefully be good once i get back.

Now I get to just wait till the job is done.

EDIT: got the car back - and wow, what a difference. The popping sounds are gone for the most part and the handling is fantastic again.

I mounted my newest diffuser design, version 2.5. I made the fins larger and extended them for a better look. I also left it unpainted, my other one was satin black. This was just a prototype to see how it looked, I like it better.

Curt, these are nice! If you make more I'd love to buy another one from you. Maybe we can meet up halfway in Corona again.

It's even worse when it's not a daily. I found a gouge in my driver door walking up to the car the other day. Given the angle I think the front tire threw a pebble or something and got the door just right.
