In for results.

(I'm guessing if you do the opg's/crank sprocket and don't "drive it like you stole it", it would last quite awhile.)

Vmp gen 2 stage 3 kit tuned by VMP. Dynoed 623 on vmps mobile dyno on 93oct with a 82mm pulley,x pipe,gt500 mufflers, cat deletes. Put the kit on aug 2015. It run 6.9's in the 1/8th. Added 79mm and circle d 2c got it to 6.40's avg with 93/torco vmp tuning. Car has over 650 track slips and probably 800 passes total if not more with over 10,000 miles with the blower and almost 60,000 miles total. Stock long block for 550 ish track runs, just added oil and crank gears earlier in the year. Turn the car 7500ish rpms.

You said it was built with those mods and it still let go. What happened?
Was it because it was pushed at the drag strip? I would have "assumed" the built block would have been able to withstand the beating? Not being sarcastic, just being curious.
Also, who did the build for you? Thanks.

He means premptively built it before the stock block let go i believe.

That torque # seems crazy high for a centri. I made 500wtq with a D1SC@ 10psi

I've been north of 650 since 2014. Not many miles on it maybe 10k, but that's 10k of mostly 1/4 passes and racing. Makes more with the turbo, but that's where I keep it. Always with good gas, usually E85.

Okay, so I have a question for all you engine gurus. I currently have a stock 2013 Roush Stage 3 car. I've been thinking about building it up/modding with mostly VMP parts and having those parts professionally installed from either VMP or Injected Engineering as well as a tune/dyno tune to make sure car runs like stock until the "GO" pedal is mashed. lol (Not sure I am going to do this, as posted earlier. Still waiting for the new GT500 to come and looking at other beastly cars as well.)

Was thinking about adding the following:
VMP Twin Jet 72mm throttle Body, 79mm VMP Pulley, VMP Fuel Pump Booster, JLT 123MM Cold Air Intake, VMP High Flow Inlet Elbow in Black, ID1000 Fuel Injectors, Brisk Cold Spark Plugs, VMP Triple Pass Dual Fanned Heat Exchanger, MMR Hurricane Billet Oil Pump Gears, MMR Billet Lower Crankshaft Sprocket Gear, and JLT 3.0 Oil Separator.

Keep in mind, I can ONLY run 93 octane as we don't have E85 in my state unfortunately or else I would be running on E85, no questions asked.
Is it/will it be too overkill to do a MMR1000 forged kit for what I want to do here? I will not be taking the car to the track or drag strip. It's mostly a garage queen, but I will be getting on it every once in a while when driving it since it will be a "little bit of fun". lol
Any info/words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
