275/40/17 TOYO R888

Anybody run this size on a stock 17x9? Do they run a little wide? How do they hook......

I have them on the front on the stock wheels. They are a little wider than the stock eagles, sit about even with the fender lip.

Nice, I was thinking of running them on my rear stockers. Wish they were made in a 285. Got to step it up to a 315 if you want anything wider than the 275. Don't feel comfortable with a 315 on a 9 inch wheel.

I have 315s on 10.5 replicas on the rear. They gave me the look I wanted and hookup way better than the old stock eagles

I've seen people run the 315/30/18 toyo 888 on a 10 inch wheel all the time. So you can do it, but a 10.5 wheel is better and 11 is the ideal width for a 315 tire.
