We have all seen the threads revolving around the highest numbers paid for a 00R, but I don't recall seeing anything for the lowest price paid for a 00R. The lowest I have seen is also the strangest as it was for the last...yes that's correct, the #300 car that sold at auction a couple years ago for $24K. The car had been raced, but was still complete and came with spare parts. What are some of the lower prices that everyone else has heard of.

Dave's car doesn't count ! Lol!

I heard about one that had racing stripes painted on the front which sold for low 20s

Glad you started this so I can keep an eye out on what's out there and what I should pay.

I'm not looking for the cheapest, but will be in the market for one soon. It may mean that my 04 CO Vert has to go through - tough decision for me since I love that car.

I remember that guy. Did he really sell his 00R for $29K? If I recall correctly, he was starting a business or something.

The days of cheap R's are totally over. I just thought it would be interesting to see some of the lower prices paid in the past. The last year has seen a pretty good uptick in prices and I'm pretty sure that trend will continue.

If you can only have one, you will be glad you swapped your Terminator for the 00R. The R is a different beast altogether. It is a stout machine.

As for 00R prices, when I was shopping last year, the few I came across were all going for top-dollar with the exception of one that was rough.

You will pay good money for a nice example.

Today you will definitely pay good money for a nice example. This thread was more about what some of the lower paid prices were in the past. There is another thread I started with highest prices paid, so I figured it would be interesting to see what the lowest prices paid were as well. Looks like just under $30K is the lowest so far. I know on the highest side, there were examples that dealers sold new for nearly double sticker and people paid it!!! Wonder if any of those people sold the cars and what they were able to get for them. This car is a masterpiece. Anyone that has one (less than 300 people as there have been at least a few totaled) is extremely lucky.

There was one years back that was butt ugly with yellow rims and huge fog lights on a bracket on the front. It was set up for rally racing, although I don't know if it ever competed. I remember it was bought and turned back to stock on most items that could easily be corrected. I believe that went in the 20s. There should be a thread in here somewhere about it.

Goose, I just have to say yours is my dream garage, contents included. My favorite, of course, is your 2000 'R'. ;)

I got sdfrog77's 95R#13. I paid whole lot more than $19k. I got it from a dealership. I've tried to contact him about the car with no response. I'm looking for other prior owners too.

Ty passed away in 2012 in one of the attacks at the US Embassy in Libya. I can't remember if he was still enlisted as a Navy Seal but I know he was in the service for a long time. You got yourself a nice car. When I was looking for a 95r he gave me a bunch of info on what to look for. RIP.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate that. My garage is my sanctuary. I thoroughly enjoy going in there, cranking up some tunes and playing with the toys.
