I come from an aviation family and my dad got to hang out with him last year at a citation event I believe. He got his picture with him and got to talk to him for a while. I thought it was really cool, and super happy he got to do that. Thanks for posting the video.

I've seen that video before. He's a great speaker and writer. I'm ashamed to say i've only read bits of sled driver. I have the pdf and haven't read the whole thing for some reason.

Excellent story. A real inspiration.

Can never get enough of those stories but didn't really know his backstory. I have a copy of Sled Driver (paid $425 for it for my Dad for fathers day) and the Untouchables but it's been a few years since I've read it. I can't remember if he talked about his early life or not.
