Final Destination in real life.

This particular ride is a huge boom at the local fair here, though I'm willing to bet that changes after this. Just absolutely crazy to actually see this happen outside of Hollywood.

Glad I get motion sick from that shit so I have an excuse to never ride it.

I always enjoyed hearing the rotating parts squeal and squeak like the bearings had disintegrated. I always wondered if they actually had any bearings in the first place, or did they just stick a tube over a solid steel shaft and send it out.

That's the end of that fair.

I like roller coasters and other similar style rides but not ones that are temporary. Stuff like that which is put up and taken down in a matter of days and transported down the highway... no thanks.

I'm going to the fair, lines will be shorter now.

if/when I have kids....they're not going on those sketchy ass rides. Hell, my brother and I almost got really hurt on them as teenagers, I cannot imagine a young one.....

i'll be the 'asshole dad' all day, vs having some shit like that happen to my mini me.

yep. when you see who is putting those things together, it will give you a nightmare like what just happened. I never ride any of that stuff anywhere. the stresses placed on all the components day in and day out, year after year, even at a place like Disney or Universal, eventually something has to give.
