I knew 10,000 miles was coming up but I love driving this car so much that I didn't notice in time to take the obligatory odometer pic at exactly 10,0000. Close enough.....

Thats funny... I bought my GT500 with 6800 miles on it in April. Ive already put almost 3k miles on it and will be looking to break 10k soon!

I told myself I'd pace myself and try to keep the miles down but cant do it!!

Drove her to work today actually...

The 07-09's look so much better with different wheels. For some reason I never liked the stock wheels on them compared to the 10-14's. Looks clean man.

I'm in a weird situation because I love driving it, but I haven't lately because I have some mental block about keeping it under 10k

TK1299, no upper pulley change or tune? Just the catback?

I could never drive fewer than 7K miles a year if I still had my '03 Cobra. Just too much fun NOT to drive.

No sir, just exhaust. I have a 93 Cobra that's modified pretty good when I need a crazy drive. I do have a 2.3 whipple, GT supercar fuel pumps, 80lb injectors, MAF and JLT intake as well as Billetflow idler pulleys sitting on a shelf in the garage. I've just never gotten around to installing it. It is hard not to drive though, no doubt.

Agree 100%. Took me quite a while to warm up to the 07-09's.

Wheels transform the look of the car.

If you were planning on selling it soon I would say keep it under 10k but if your in it for the long run then enjoy it. You will pass that number sooner or later anyway so don't deny yourself the fun of driving it now just to put off the inevitable.

The Cobra is an a load of fun to drive. I didn't drive my 03 much for the past two years, no more than 100 miles. Last year my Viper got most of my attention and the Cobra went out one time even though I cleaned it, oil change, ran it and moved it from time to time.
Anyway... The Cobra has been getting some nice attention this year.
The Cobra has a very wild feel to it, it is unruly, loud, fast, has a great visceral feel and it just a comfortable and easy to have fun in.
I think with the Viper added to the garage I may just say screw it and put the miles on the Cobra and enjoy it more... probably even some autox ect... we'll see.

Good point for sure. I think once I actually surpass 10k then I'll feel better about it.

Just get past the number then it won't be a big deal for a while. I like you wanted to keep mine below 10k, I ended up passing that while testing the caged 4lb pulley.

Immediately after passing 10k the new goal was to keep it under 20k so now I have a ways to go before I worry about that. Im at 12,8XX now and it'll be several years before I have to worry about 20k.

^ car gets driven. It just hit 400k not too long ago. Now it's almost at 410k. Highest mileage Terminator on the planet, I believe.
