Recently got rid of my '12 Mustang GT, now have my sights set on a 13/14 GT500

any owners here of a white or DIB GT500 with glass roof, performance pack, track pack, and navigation? looking to see the production numbers for 13/14 to see how hard its gonna be to find one with low miles

thanks!

I would say it's going to be a tough find with the all those options, especially the glass roof. I've been looking at '13/'14 Gt500's as well. Big time. I kinda want to wait for the new GT500, but the '13/'14 styling is killer in my opinion.
Also, what do you consider low mileage?
Good luck!

low mileage probably around 10k, but i'm willing to go up to probably 20k if i had to. my '12 had 28k on the clock when I sold it so I absolutely want to stay under that.
Yeah, I'd like to see what the 18 GT500 is gonna look like/what kind of powerplant its gonna have, but I'm not crazy about the new styling as compared to the 13/14. Just looks too good.

and yeah, as far as options, I know I'm dreaming pretty big, but I have time. my mustang was a daily driver, the shelby won't be. So I have plenty of time to wait for the right one to come along eventually.

Thanks!

yeah I've been creepin pretty hard on the GT500 forums and EVERYONE says glass roof is the way to go. the navigation isn't really a must have, and I wouldn't lose sleep if it didn't have track package, but at a minimum, glass roof and performance pack are what i'm looking for

I have the Grabber Blue/Black Stripe combo with all those options. It may take a while obviously in that color combination. You may find it with all those options in a different color sooner but only if you are flexible.

I just happened to stumble across mine, was setlled on a Black/Black stripe with glass roof until I saw up close the GB, it was killer to pass up.

I havent noticed any DIB with those options to be honest but be patient, you will find your car. Ill keep on the lookout for you.

Total of about 70 made each year. Someone got it in their garage and won't let go at all or for high premiums. If you don't plan on tracking, you get by without track pack. Performance pack is nice and convenient , I love it.

Good luck with your search. Took me a while to find the color that I want and factory stripe delete.

I'd appreciate that. I'm starting my search now even though realistically I don't expect to be making a move on one until at least the beginning of the new year. But if the right one came along now, I'd probably be bugging the wife to pull the trigger early.

There's a black/ black one for sale now that's beyond gorgeous with 4500 miles but I don't expect it to still be available when I'm ready. Plus, I just got rid of my all black car and while I loved it, the DIB has a special place and I really like the white stripe delete cars with black accents

Good luck. Do a search on this sub forum, someone pulled together .xls for '13 and '14 showing the breakdowns as far as Ford would go. I have the '14 in front of me. 491 coupes in DIB, 51 of those had the glass roof, 343 track pack, 377 the electronics package, and 424 the performance package. I've got those options with Grabber Blue/white (and Recaros) who's production is even lower and am completely satisfied with those options. Best of luck in your search.

Here is the 2014 production numbers. I imagine the 13 would be similar exect for some colors differences.

Well, the new Gt500/Cobra/whatevertheycallit is probably going to cost you nearly twice as much as what you can get a 13/14 for.

Very true, but if I can get a decent trade-in number for my car, I'm all over it. Plus, I'm more than likely going to be ordering mine and hopefully can order at MSRP. (Guaranteed sale for the dealership.)
If not then a clean, low mileage, 1 owner, and stock 2013/2014 GT500 it may be. (I actually love the look of the 2013/2014 GT500s.)

Hate to break the news to you...just by Ford producing a new GT500 successor, if a dealership has an allocation, they have a guaranteed sale. lol

So, how will this work? I can't go to my local Ford dealership and say, I'd like to order a 2019 GT500, (my color(s) and options), at MSRP please. Let's do this.
Or, is it the "allocation game" where the dealerships with the most sales or whatever will have first dibs on the new GT500? (I hope that's not the case.)

Each dealership will have X amount of cars. Probably ranging from 1 to 10.

If I had 100 customers lined up at my door, I wouldn't be able to get 100 of them.

Every allocation will be sold by the dealers. I imagine there will be $10-15k markups to start at majority of stores then will trickle down AS supply trickles.

I would order second year, (if there a second year anyways), so hopefully the ADM would go down.
(Probably not though!!! lol )
