Turning off Rev Matching on 2015 Auto

A friend just picked up a 2015 mustang with headers and full exhaust. It's been tuned too.

It seems that rev matching is not working in sport or track mode

Questions are

1. Is rev matching standard of 2015 mustang GTs

2. Can a tuner turn it off?

Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology. When in sport mode and using the paddles it stays in the perfect rpm and when switching to a power gear it raises the rpm.

If I'm still not making sense then I'll have him explain it. My friends 2017 auto does it and his doesn't. Only difference is his mods and tune.

Still not getting it....I don't have paddles on my 14 but, it just goes up and down the gearbox when I trigger the manual control, as it should. Of course it raises the rpm, you just selected a lower gear.

Sounds like the tune turned it off, there's no Ford feature that I know of to enable or disable it.
Why the tune turned it off is beyond me, there's no logical reason i can think of why you'd want the car to jerk any time you downshift manually.
