The strangest thing happened today while driving into work. I had just left the gas station and shifted into 3rd, gave the car half to 3/4 throttle when all of sudden it nose dived, pulled a little to the left and started to wobble. I immediately thought I had a tire go down, but as suddenly as it happened it cleared right up. I never saw any TC, CELs etc on the gauge cluster. The car did lose power, like the ECM was closing the throttle body. In any even I just wanted to see if anyone had experienced this issue.

Odd man. Odd indeed. Hope it is one of those gremlins that never come back...

The problem has not re-occurred, knock on wood. I am wondering if its battery related, electrical in nature. I am still on the original battery and corrosion has started around the negative post, thinking its time to replace that sucker even though voltage when hot is still steady at 14.x volts.

FWIW.... a dying battery wreaked havoc with active handling in my C5Z. I chased down and cleaned grounds etc, ended up buying an optima redtop and the problems went away.

I had the same thing happen on my car last year around October. Car wobbled and pulled power but my TC light came on. I pulled over and shut car off then turned it right back on, it's never done it again since that one time so hopefully it was just a one time deal.

Thinking back I can't with clarity recall whether or not the TC light came on, even though I originally stated that it did not. When it happened I was more focused on keeping the car in my lane and only glanced at the gauge cluster. I turned on my hazards and started to pull over, then it suddenly cleared up.

Had this happen on my old 2012 BBP a couple times. It's some combination of turning and applying hard throttle that occasionally get TC/SC/AT into a wad.

It has never happened on my 2014 auto.

Maybe it's the cars and coffee setting internally....

My 14 base auto got 2 new rear tires in the spring, same size as the front factory square 235/18,s .I immediately noticed the car was a little jacked up in the rear, combo of new tread and diff brand of tires were just a little taller, 1st time I sailed off in a corner car started slamming the brakes on, scary if u ask me for a safety device, advacncetrak, it was easily repeatable and would go away with the nannies off, replaced the fronts a few months later with the same brand as the rears and nothing since, maybe my advacncetrak is touchy to having the same diameter tires front and rear but I gotta say that 1st time at 100 mph was as scared as I've been in awhile
