Is it still just 03 Cobra, Fluidyne, or Mishimoto?

Anything tried and true over the rest? Maybe something that has a smaller profile for less packaging issues (especially with turbo and AC)?

thanks guys. does this protrude further into the engine bay at all? i've heard of guys having packaging issues with a turbo/centri an an aftermarket rad.

I put a stock 97 in my 1996. Lots of fiddly bits, as it is wider than the 96. But cools good. I could not go with aftermarket as it would have interfered with piping to and from intercooler. Happy with the stock unit at my HP levels.

I've got a vortech, it's close but i still have plenty of clearance between the blower and rad, that's with a powerpipe too

Did you have to do any mods to make it fit?

Yes, lots. I was lucky enough to find a NOS TSB kit on eBay for $500. New lower radiator mounts in wider position. Have to remove 1996 mounts. New prop rod with different angles, new drivers side upper mount, move brake lines, new bracket and support rod for expansion tank, as it moves also. I also installed new 1997 condenser and it had new AC lines also that were bent differently to allow for wider radiator. New brackets to hold them in also. New fan and shroud to fit new radiator.

All in all, I am so glad I had the TSB kit. Otherwise it would have been a royal PITA.

I've had a steeda aluminum unit on mine since i got the car, at least that's what I was told, been on there for 10+ years. Getting ready to bolt on a novi2000 not sure what the clearance is going to look like with that.

Have fun...it is tight. The N2k is big, but I wouldnt trade mine for a Vortech.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to tilt the radiator /condenser when it goes in. The radiator is pretty thick

Wow, makes me glad I don't have a '96. That sounds a real PITA to source all those parts. Nice eBay find!

I have an 03 cobra radiator with less than 10,000 miles I would sell. 315 shipped and cheaper if picked up. I think they are great pieces, and it is complete. 248-921-1100

IMO I would go 2003/04 radiator as I did in my 99 because OEM, All Aluminum, and great fit.
