My wife has been reading some of the threads when I leave my phone hanging around. This a direct quote this week from her. "Why do you like SVt? They are just a bunch of arrogant pricks". I guess that sums it up.

My story, my kid turned me on to this place. I had already owned my Cobra for 6 years before I joined. Probably a good thing. I was super active in the 03/04 section when I first joined. Those guys have way surpassed me in knowledge. I will still do a blower swap eventually and know where to go when I do. When I was asked about becoming a moderator here I was floored, and the rest is history. Lol
I'm still waiting on my call up to the big leagues.

I had lurked for a long time because I always lusted after an '03 Cobra. Many years later, I finally reached a point in my life where I could afford a Terminator, so I joined. The community here is great, and goes way beyond SVT/ford--just take a look at the "Post Recent Pics of Your Car" thread.

Since my Terminator is gone, I only visit roadside and pics and vids--the things that make you lol thread keeps me coming back.

I came here when I had a 5.0 cobra because stangnet drove me nuts. I stayed because I bought a lightning and this forum was pretty busy. I am still here because I don't have facebook, and I try and help the lightning newbs that post up, due to the lack of traffic in that section now.

for a long time the only reason I came on here was LNC and when we used to **** people up in SD

To which you promptly advised her to get in the kitchen and make you a sandwich, yes?

I think your wife needs to look at this SVTP situation through a different set of eyes.

We aren't arrogant pricks, we confident, good looking, wealthy and have lots of cool stuff and the world deserves to know about us. It would be unfair to deny them access to our greatness.

I was on Corral since like 01 when I bought my Cobra. They sold to someone and it went to shit. So I stopped going. Bought a GSXR, snowmobile and 4 wheeler and stopped really caring about my car so didn't find a new forum.

Back in 12 I decided to do an Eaton swap thinking I may drive the car more. I did for like a year. But joined here for help/questions with the swap. Seemed like a lot knowledgeable people and good site in general.

Here I still am and still have the cobra. Haven't driven it yet this year though.

You forgot giant, floppy dicks. It's like an episode of Game of Thrones up in here.

Lurked for years but always owned mustang gt's and never felt worthy of joining without an SVT vehicle. Finally joined when I got serious about buying a cobra. Ended up buying my car from the SVT market late last summer.
So much knowledge and entertainment on here it just keeps me coming back for more.

I had my 96 Cobra in high school and wanted to learn more about working on it so I wouldn't continue to get shafted by the local dealership any time something went wrong on it. Learned a lot over the years here

In the late 90s I was just learning how to work the internet and found out that I could look up a shit ton of information by doing internet searches. I have always been a huge Ford Motorsports enthusiast and as a result became a big fan of the SVT vehicles. I think it was around 2000, when I searched for the performance data of certain SVT vehicles, I always landed here(SVT Performance... DUH!) and the results were always good. At the time I still did not really understand what a "forum" was. I asked my questions on an internet search and it seemed like I was always getting the best answers here. So after an extended period of lurking and learning what forums were all about, I decided to join, partly because I had learned that it was the only way I could answer some of the questions being asked and also it was the only way I could ask more tailored and specific questions of my own.
The rest is history and the site has done nothing but get better and better every year.
The car guy camaraderie, the irreverent humor, the friends, the knowledge base, It's the real deal. Plus every place else pales in comparison and basically sucks.
That was way too much information, wasn't it? Shit!
