Went out to my local 1/8 mile track for some fun. Was hoping to break into the 6s in the 1/8 as my previous best was a 7.01. A decent head wind kept that from happening but fun day regardless. Plus they didnt kick me out!

This is the Cobra

Car was very consistent 5 runs all either 7.0X or 7.1X. I messed with my rear suspension a bit but not much. I had two 1.58s but Id like to be seeing low 1.5s consistently. Tubular K, A-arms, and Front Viking Coil overs going on in June then ill mess with it more. Left Lane

Good runs and nice shifting. So I see you also post on LS1tech in the srk section. I find myself on there quite a bit for the lolz. The LS fanboy over there is so strong it's halarious. Wait till they find out you pulled the passenger seat, that makes it a full blown gutted race cahh.

Nice!

What did you think of the new steering wheel?
I love the wheel. Feels great in my hand. Tons of grip.

Good stuff, you are doing a good job shifting. Barona is a cool track, like seeping back in time.

Hey I saw you were installing the Viking coil overs. Did you have any trouble with the strut base bracket rubbing the swaybar end links? I just recently bought a 03 cobra it came with the Viking set up front and rear in box. I installed the fronts per the directions. And noticed during install the strut base where the adjusters are was rubbing my swaybar end links. I went ahead and buttoned everything up and thought it would level and separate once it was on pavement. But it didn't separate and rubbed the strut bracket against the swaybar endlink. Thoughts?
Thank you.

OP which tires are you running front and rear on your drag setup? Also do you run tubes in the slicks?

I don't run a front sway bar so I don't have any issues like that.
