Had the car on the dyno a few days ago, made 414hp/365tq on a mustang dyno.

Modifications:

-Ported Boss manifold
-PMAS intake
-FRPP 47# injectors
-Lund flex fuel tune with E85 in the tank. Not tested.
-Lethal O/R X pipe
-Shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft

Does it sound like where the car should be at with these parts? I understand all dyno's are calibrated differently, just curious. Done in 5th gear. Very happy with the way the car drives.

I would say your right where you are supposed to be. Slap on some sticky tires and get to the strip, your trap speed will tell you what kind of power she is making.

Sounds a little low, but then again mustang dynos tend to read low. I'd run it at the track and see what your trap speed is, that's the best measure as long as you can at least somewhat drive lol

id say its low..... My cold air, roush axle back and tune car made 400 to the wheels, factory everything else.
Mustang dynos notoriously read low though....

They told me their dyno reads around 12% lower than a dynojet, but not terribly concerned with it. This is just pre-boost anyway.

They sound low, but like the others said, dynos can be made to say a lot of different things.

Track it and see what the mph says.

Sounds low to me. I put down 407 with:
Boss (not ported)
Steeda intake
3:31 gears
AED Tune
BBK Axle backs

Shit, see I dont trust dynos.

I have Boss mani, jlt, sve xpipe, res delete, corsas, lu47s and lund flex on e85 and I put down 406/360 (IIRC) on a dynojet. Ran 12.3 at 118 in the 1/4 on 20in all seasons and BC coilovers with 373s.

I'm wondering on those numbers. If you read my signature, those are the mods I have on my Mustang and in high humidity and 90 degree weather, mine made 434 RWHP and 385 RWTQ, on a Dynojet w/ SAE corrections set. I'm surprised at your torque; maybe it's the Boss Intake manifold. And what do you mean "ported"? Isn't the Boss intake plastic?

I think some are missing the point of these numbers coming from a Mustang Dyno. Had it been a Dynojet, he'd probably be seeing around 470 rwhp (corrected). That said, never trust a dyno 100%. The ONLY real indicator of power is the track.

For comparison, when I had a Steeda tune with O/R X pipe and a Steeda intake, the car put down 389/365 on a dynojet so it did gain power over that. I do really like the way the car feels with this latest setup, will need to track it soon to see.

Will LT's make a big difference over the O/R X midpipe on there now?

If on a Mustang dyno that seems about right to me.

On a dynojet back when I was bolt-ons I made

420/402

Boss-302 Intake
Steeda CAI
3.73 Gears
Mt-82
Pypes O/R X-pipe

Did a couple of runs over the weekend. All on street tires, best out of four was a 12.3 @114. Happy that I actually cut a 1.8 60' on that run, but the mph is a little low it seems. Temp was 78 degrees, DA I think was 2100. First run was 12.6, second 12.5, third 12.3, and fourth when bogged at the line a 12.7. First run was with full TC on, all others were in sport mode with 1-2 shift traction issues. I had to leave after the last run, but I think it had more in it if I had time to do a couple more runs. I was taking my time to feel the car out. Next I am going to pick up some slicks and head back to see what it can do. I should also mention that I didn't start shifting over 7k rpm until the third run which gave me my best time.

^This track times speak volumes more than dyno numbers ever will.

Wanna see where the car is, take it to the strip and see the times, how she launches and the MPH.

On street tires that's not a bad time at all.

Get a tire under her and run some mid 11's :)
