Apparently, shop says the wiring to pump was not affected. Safe to say no sparks escaped the pump itself.

It could have sparked. You need some oxygen for a flame. Reminds me of some old episodes of Mythbusters testing out some of this stuff.

AEM replaced the pump no charge. New pump has been altered and no longer works in hat properly, sigh. New walbro that does fit properly installed and worked properly with no melt down. Just got unlucky with a bad new pump.

Danny has already changed original start up tune and car idles very nice. Glad the VMP 3500 MAF and DW1500cc injectors working out.

Oh, and it looks like the car is tuned and running great!

The attached dyno chart is the biggest blower pulley, with E66. Danny and LITO consensus is it was a good place to stop until E85 available or I switch to race fuel. Still plenty of potential on the table with 6 smaller pulleys to go.

The stations last year were slow getting to E85, so I may switch it over to race fuel, have to think on that.

I will drive it like this for a while, still not giving up on hitting 1,000 RWHP, if it is safely doable.

Blower speed right now is 12,750 RPM on the 3.4 whipple, so still some room.

Highest IAT during any pull was 102F. The tuner and shop owner was/is amazed. Here is some extracted data from the dyno pull. The original exel file is too big and won't post.

Definitely bodes well for turning up the boost.

Well, went down and discussed fuel and the state of what my car has become and have decided to switch the fuel for all tune states over to Ignite 114. I pretty much only drive the car around my area and it will eventually get hauled to the track on a car trailer.

When the fuel arrives and Danny and LITO sync up again, we shall see what is left on the table.

I've been wondering about what I'll go to for fuel. VP, or Ignite. I'd be getting it shipped to me for the most part, but the local track carries VP, and it's tempting just to stick with VP in case I'm at the track, and it's there to purchase.

Nothing wrong with VP. I was able to get in on a group buy on a full pallet.

Car was back on dyno with race gas today being tuned by LITO and Danny with smallest blower pulley, but having belt slip and tensioner near limit. Jason sending out a larger lower pulley.

Nice job. This is the same block they used for the aluminator, right? 3V aluminum?
