No longer looking, thanks for all your responses. Here's the deal folks. We are looking for a preferably 2004 convertible in very clean condition, never wrecked, smoked in or had any repaint. Preferred colors we are looking for are red fire, white, dark shadow gray, Sonic blue, others will be considered but those listed are our primary choices. We are NOT looking for some modded out drag car. Just something that the family can put the top down in and enjoy the ride. Stock is preferred but not mandatory. Thanks for looking.

04 preferred because of the improved 9 threads on heads. But 03's will be considered, obviously in Sonic blue and dsg. Good catch on your part.

Any 03-04 can develop head tick. If you find a mint condition very buy it. They aren't getting easier to find

Not so much about the tick as I prefer the nine thread spark plug holes. Heard some stories of people having issues for what ever reason with the 3-4 thread version. I personally have the 4 thread heads on my 03 coupe which has had close to 22lbs of boost through it, never had an issue. But the more threads the better I figure.
