Put on my Paxton kit this past week and one of the studs on the timing chain cover was not there... Not sure if it's a 2015 thing or not just thought it was odd. My 2011 car had this stud on it.

The track pack cars all have the 5w-50 oil cap like the Boss and Shelbys. The regular GTs got the 5W20 caps. The caps are the same except for the labeling.

Source: My 2014 track pack oil cap got dropped and was chipped, and Ford parts dept only has regular GT cap on hand. We used that to button it up, and they ordered the correct one to replace it with the correct 5W50 wording. :)

If you mean the top mushroom stud/spacer, only the 2011 cars had that.

Old thread, but another datapoint:
turns out my car had the engine replaced under warranty in 02/2015 w/ previous owner.
car:
very early production 06/2010

replacement engine:
3 bolt pulley
2015 casting
09/2014 date code as per the sticker
ER3E 6006 AA S197A code above the scan code.

I would guess this one does not have the oil squirters and anyting else updated along the way. I won't be pulling it apart to find out.
I'm curious about what the S197A signifies exactly. Even though this is a late engine, it was designated for replacement of an early Coyote? A.

ScreenHunter_601 Jan. 13 20.53.jpgScreenHunter_600 Jan. 13 20.52.jpg6k miles on the replacement engine. 2011 w/ 2015 casting heads! I'm happy with that...

Another data point, very late (6/14 build date) '14 Track Pack car, 3 bolt water pump, and '11-'14 castings. Can clearly see by the intake port flange underneath the CJ intake manifold. Damn.

I've got a buddy (Auto02 on here)that has the same thing. His car is a late 14 and this is how it came.

Far as I can tell, mine is one of each also. Build of 6/14.
Must have cast the 15's with enough material (in valve area)
to final machine them either way?

Just tore mine down to put in a Roush. Exact opposite of your buddy

That means that both head castings where interchangable @ one point in 2014.

Since these heads were showing up before 15's were available I think the intake mounting flange is the only difference. No one has come forward to verify CC differences in the runners or valve size differences.

It had to be the raw casting could be final machined either way, especially for the valves. What is supposed to be the runner difference between them?
