Im really pushing to finish it ASAP. Been on the hunt for a 2nd house and if I can move this thing in one piece instead of parts I would be a lot happier. Realistically, end of summer looks to be a good target.

I bet that was a treat watching my mood go from happy as can be to frustrated, to happy, back to wanting to sell, to taking months off lol.

Either way, thanks man. Its always great to go back and read through all the ups and downs. I love the feedback I get from people too, always cool to see if I have inspired anyone along the way.

Thank you! Greatly appreciate the kind words... I haven't decided on an exhaust setup yet... hint hint.. ;)

If we can offer any assistance in choosing the right exhaust for your needs, please feel free to shoot over a PM when you are ready! Keep up the good work!

No real updates as of lately - just stopped in as photo bucket is turning off 3rd party linking to sites now I have to go through this whole thread and relink to imgur or flickr.

Not a lot of progress as temps are still over 100 here in AZ. Still looking for a second (upgrade - read 3 car garage!) house. Also with having the back yard re-landscaped I moved all my extra tools and parts from my shed into my garage. The shed is becoming an outside office/mancave so I will end up selling a lot of my stuff to make room to work on the car again. Look for updates to come in the next month!

To all of you who subscribed to this thread and thought I would never come back to update it... I didn't think I was going to either lol.

The MM Torque arm is finally in the car but just dropped the rear end again so I could remove the one remaining upper control arm and remove some brackets as well as clearance some of the parts where things were rubbing.

The rear end got unbelievably dusty when it was in the body shop getting the engine bay worked on.

Quite some time ago I ordered the caster camber scuff plates from Makers Garage, upon fitting them I quickly realized I will need to trim them up in order to fit cleanly. Once I get these trimmed I will send them off to powdercoat.

That wraps up tonights work, I hope to work on this more frequently as the temps have finally cooled down.

When I had the rear end in and the ride height was right, I noticed some brackets and bump stops that were getting close to the lines on the rear end. I bent them upwards but was never happy with that. I broke out my air chisel to break off the spot welds.

As you can see the pan hard bar went over top of these so I had to remove that as well.

I also saw witnesses marks of the rear hitting my spare tire well so I decided to put the hammer fitting on the air chisel and clearanced that.

There is quite a bit of undercoat all over the underside of the car so I took some black rubberized sealer to the underside once I was finished up with removing the brackets and clearancing.

No more bracket.

Clearanced spare tire well.
