Hey guys,
Is it possible to run e85 on a supercharged stang with just larger injectors and a boost a pump, or is a fuel system upgrade require? I am currently running a procharger d1sc with 11 lbs of boost on 93 pump gas. Plan on swaping my current injectors to id1000s and already have the vmp boost a pump and was just wondering if i could run e85 on this setup.

My understanding is this is the space between "can" and "should"... if you are boosting w/ e85 - you SHOULD run a return system... CAN you do it without, yes, hopefully, maybe, sometimes... until it's not enough at WOT and then boom.
There was just a thread with someone who roasted their engine with a similar setup and the consensus was generally "it likely went lean". (edited to add thread here - https://www.svtperformance.com/forums/threads/pretty-sure-the-motor-is-toast.1138069/)

Get the return system - be safe!

Thats what i figured, seems like everyone who runs e85 has a return fuel system. Will probly just run torco +93 if i want to make more power.

My tuner will not tune e85 power adder cars without a return style fuel system. I ended up with a Fore return system and some id1300's

I also run a d1sc and gained 68whp and 80wtq with changing from pump gas to e85.

You "can" if the planets align. I have 1,000cc DW injectors, 82mm pulley and a JMS BAP. I had enough fuel on E70-E80. Ran out when it hit E90. STFTs were not happy with E90. My car trapped the same MPH with a 72mm pulley and 93 plus Torco as it did on E80. Torco brought the octane up to around 104 octane. Was not able to run as much timing with the 104 tune as I did on E85. Extra boost made up the difference. STFTs were below 1.0 on 104.

I was returnless with ID1000's, dual DW200's and a Kenne Bell 40 amp BAP. Was at 12 psi 701 rwhp on E85. 12 psi on 91 made 597 rwhp. Had no issues.

The shop custom mounted them in the stock hat (3V).
