Ordered '13/'14 Base wheel set, I actually think these look great & will be much easier to keep clean. ONLY ONE set left now....
.
Think these will look great on my '12 PP Shelby too.
.
But I may keep them boxed up & save them for later too.

I can't seem to find new 20x9.5's in 2011/2012 PP version unlike these 13/14 PP/Base-wheel sets. Always find the '12 PP version used or refurbished. Leary of the color matching; that matte-argent finish....

I just bought the PP set. I won't be getting the Venice wheels After reading about the issues.
You may want to check the Neg. FeedBack's from the seller you just made a purchase from about receiving damaged wheels..... It can happen!

One of the wheels I received was damaged and the seller immediately sent out a pickup number for UPS and shipped out another new wheel. Unfortunately, the replacement wheel was damaged by UPS and we are waiting on UPS. As soon as UPS acknowledges the claim, another new wheel will be sent out.
Since these were bought as backups, the wait is not a problem. If I needed a replacement immediately, I have no doubt one would be shipped ASAP.

Other than the UPS damage done to the edge of the rim, the rim was in mint (new) condition.

Like I said anything can happen! Your lucky to get another wheel. I just received my second set of Venice wheels and all four are in Perfect Condition! I think the problem is people return items with marks Ect. And UPS can cause damage too! UPS damaged 4 gas tanks in shipping for my 1970 Show Car before getting 1 good one..

Base or PP? I'm thinking it's not a bad idea to pick up a set and just let 'em sit in the attic, doubt they'd go down in value?!

I have the same car as yours. I went with PP since they are impossible to match if damaged. I feel like they are money in the bank.

Any updates to this? Did anyone else order a set of these and if so what was your experience? I am looking to order a set of 19's so I can actually rotate them. I love the look of a staggered set but I DD mine and rotating them would be nice.

I didn't order a set, but I trust Snoopy49's assessment.

BTW, they're now advertised at only $989 for a set.

Kinda pissed that the price dropped a couple of weeks after ordering.... But I may be ordering ANOTHER set!

Shipping was fast & I had to open each box to inspect the wheels.

Wheels are in perfect/new condition. The box unfortunately, looked liked they were "beat-up", kicked around or it's cheap cardboard underrated due to the wheel-weight.

IF this matters to some, this eBay seller will not post any purchase feedback unless you post first.

The color of the wheels are more of bright matte-silver finish..... I have a pic for comparison...

...............................................................................................................

I'm thinking of just using good-ole fashion/traditional valve stems & ditching the tpms sensor altogether. Meaning the car will still "recognize" my OE 12 PP wheel sensors.

Other then the "check tire pressure" display every time I start the car up & having to push "reset" to clear it, this isn't going to reek havoc on the car's electronics, right?

Great buy. I just had a second set of base wheels done by Helios in the darker PP style finish. I love the wheels and now I'll have a backup set.
Once these are gone, no more NOS around. Great deal.

I bought a set of the 19's for my lowly GT last week. Luckily all four wheels arrived in pristine condition even though they were not double boxed. The face was protected with molded foam but the inner lip was not.

Just an FYI for those looking for 19s Ford Racing sells the 19s in black with a Ford Racing cap. Other than the color and center cap, the are the same 19" front base '13-14 wheels.

Agreed. Packaging was as described above. I was shocked they all made it through in perfect condition.

I had problems with 2 of the wheels I bought, one was a small blemish that was hard to see and the other one was the replacement wheel for the one with the blemish, the second one was damaged by UPS. The replacement for the UPS damaged wheel arrived in excellent condition although the box did show mishandling. Good thing I wasn't buying the boxes.:)
Mike, the owner, stood behind the wheels and provided excellent customer service and replaced the wheels quickly.
Super deal from a super seller.
I bought 2 sets of wheels, one base and one PP.

Did they give you a deal on buying both sets? I was thinking of doing that and just parking them in the basement...gotta make more money in the future than on 1 year CD yields these days ;)

Contact Mike directly at the phone number listed in his auction and see what he says. The worst thing that could happen is that he could say no.
I paid more than they are listed for at this time, but considering the price Ford wants for 1 wheel, these were like, buy one for wheel for 40% off and get 3 free and we will ship for free.

No one seems to be considering the free shipping. The wheels would cost you over $385 to have them shipped by UPS from Troy, MI to California. That is UPS ground shipping, if you want UPS 3 Day Select® it will cost you $810 and if you really want them bad, UPS Next Day Air® Early is only $1,698.12.
When you figure the cost of the same wheels bought directly from Ford and the shipping charges, these are being sold at give away prices.

Has anyone ordered and received the set that is under $1,000? The rims look correct, but are way too shiny. The description reads the same as the other rims at $1249. Just wondering. This is still a smoking deal on factory rims that are new.
