I think you will be happy with the Shield. I love mine.
Ironically, I also sold the ruger last night but went with a plinker I always regretted selling. The Browning Buckmark.

Decided to sell my gen 3 Glock 17 and 19 to replace with the gen 4. Also selling my S&W 1911 E Series because I ever shoot the damn thing.

Started buying gear to partake in IDPA. Would it be blasphemy to use my 226 Legion for comps?

Shoot what you got for comps. The last 226 I shot surprised me how well it shot.

I keep going back to the Legion. Out of all the firearms I own I shoot that one the best. I adjust distance from 20 ft up to 50 ft and It's a tack driver. I think a Legion will look better with some holster wear.

I'm in need of some advice. The pistols in my conceal carry rotation are a Sig P938 9mm Nightmare with CT Laser and a S&W M&P Pro Core 9mm. I carry the Sig in the spring and summer and the M&P in the winter and each with a spare mag. I'm a larger guy at 6'5" tall and 250-260lbs so concealment is not an issue.

Onto my question; I have really been thinking of selling the Sig and getting into something that larger framed and capacity. I have looked at Glock 19, S&W Core (4.25" barrel) and Sig 229 all in 9mm. Other than owning the larger versions Core and shooting that I haven't shot the others. Each feels great in the hand and I plan on renting each firearm prior to purchasing assuring it fits me correctly and, more importantly, shoot it well. That said I am wondering if there are any other makes or models that I am overlooking? I'm willing to spend $800-900 on the correct firearm.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I carry a Glock 30s. For me, very comfortable to conceal and a little extra firepower compared to a 9.

I am a big fan of CZ as I have one of their competition guns. You should look into their P10 that is coming out. It is going to be their jump into the striker fire market. It is getting great reviews.

Haven't posted here in a while. I received the DIP 25MOA rail and American Rifle Company rings today to finish off my 22 for rimfire comps and general plinking. It's an Anschutz 1416 that comes from the factory in a Manners T6 stock with 18" threaded barrel and I decided to top it off with one of my extra S&B 5-25's. This thing has by far the nicest trigger I have ever felt in a rimfire and tops most aftermarket triggers I've used for any rifles. The last component will be the Thunderbeast 22 takedown suppressor that's currently waiting on form 4 approval.

Does anyone carry on the daily who has to wear a suit? I am a funeral director and wear a suit everyday. I have a Sig P938 that I carry on my ankle, and it actually works very well. Only issue is, only a few of my suits fit with it. Most of my suits are nicely tailored and the legs fit good so the gun sticks through my pants so bad allowing me to not carry the gun.

Any suggestions? I also have a Glock19 Gen4 that I just got, and I would like to start carrying that as well. But I figured since the Sig is smaller, I would carry the Sig at work and the G19 when I'm not working.

I also need to look into holsters for the G19.

If you wear a suit every day, why not a shoulder holster?

Reason being is, during a lot of my day, I take my jacket off because it's more comfortable and I don't want to be flashing the thing, especially when I'm making funeral arrangements with families and what not.
