I'll wait for the emulator to come out, because PCMASTERRACE. I'll pay for which ever is cheaper too so it can help out the nintendo devs. Even donate to the Cemu team.

720p gaming... LOL born to slow-nintendo.

I’m pretty sure his point was why bother playing it on such a small screen when you can play it on the big screen lol
Not everyone owns a "big screen". The recommended TV size for my living room is 65" to 70". We have a 40" tv. So i much rather game on my PC which was built for gaming. We havent justified buying a bigger TV yet since we do not watch much TV.

Just him or everyone including people like me who game on PC who dont own a $400 card, intel processor or even a 4k monitor? If you chose to game on PC you are an "elite gamer?"

It's like ford vs chevy. You own what you like and do as you want to please yourself.

If you aren't getting better graphics quality out of PC gaming, what's the point? Almost all AAA titles are ported to PS4, Xbone, and PC.

My old computer bricked. I am big time into counter strike source. So i dont need a lot of graphics power to play that. I went with a cheaper card but i can still play GTA5 and Mafia 3 on high or ultra. If i ever feel the need to play in 4k, i will put a second video card in and run 4k easy. I like to listen to music too so i have a nice set of sennheiser head phones which is only in stereo. I die in cs:s quite a lot due to being not surround sound. But mine headphones arent for gaming. It's for music. Everything has a purpose.

I do not enjoy sitting in my living room to game. I do not enjoy taking tv time from my wife to game. I like being in my study alone in peace. I like listening to music with my head phones alone. I do not own a big tv. I do not own a modern gaming console. PC works best for me and is more cost efficient.

Now if you have reasons that you enjoy consoles, that is perfectly fine. I dont care. I'm not a PC is master race kinda guy.
Banshee....what's the specs on your gaming rig?
It's in the PC gaming rig thread. I dont know off hand. It's not nearly as bad ass as most here. It's over built for what i do though. Yet at the same time, id like to change a few things. I had it built from my buddy's brother. Overall im happy.

Respect...

I have a problem with PC master race people like Serpent above. Saying BS like "720p gaming... LOL born to slow-Nintendo." is just ignorant. 720p gaming has it's place just as much as 4k gaming. Not playing a game because it doesn't run at your minimum resolution is preventing you from playing lots of amazing games. It's your loss, not mine.

I do wish i could find a cure for this css addiction. It's been going on roughly since 2004. I used to game on a national level for halo 1. I entered and won regional tournaments. Those were some fun times.

nintendo fan boy spotted. there is no room for 720 gaming, only nintendo fans will defend it because nintendo rolls out with shitty hardware that isnt up to spec, holy hell 720p is like ps2-hd era.

Do not pay over retail for the switch, hell dont even pay retail, theres only 1 good game, and trust me i've been watching streams of it on my xbox while i game on my pc, sometimes watch it on pc connected to my tv while gaming.

I play PC, PS4, PS3, PS2, PS, Xbox 360, Switch, Wii, Wii U, all retro games, and 3DS (I'm sure I'm forgetting something). I am a fan of well designed, fun games.

There is "no room" for 720 gaming? What does that mean? We are talking about density of pixels on a screen...do you really think people can tell the difference between 1080 and 720 on a 6" screen? Hell, I can hardly tell on a 50" screen. How much would that higher res and higher clock bring down the battery life on a mobile console and add what another $100 a unit? Nintendo's 1.5 million Switch's sold in the first week proves my point. People want fun games and flexibility on how/where they can play them.

1080 has been running on TV's for 5 years. How can you stand to look at those out dated graphics your Xbone outputs? If I were you I would put down that controller and not play until 4k with the Scorpio.

People will continue to buy the Switch at retail and above because they want the latest awesome games Nintendo develops. Do you remember the launch line-ups for PS4 and Xbone? The PS4's launch exclusive was Killzone Shadow Fall...Xbone had Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3. Most launches are soft because you can't blow your load all at once...you have to have a stream of interesting games to keep consumers hyped.

3rd party developers will continue to make games for the Switch because it will have a huge user base and it is an easy system to develop and port to.

Have fun watching people play the most critically acclaimed game in he past 20 years (BOTW), while I actually play it on my couch, in bed, on my lunch break, etc...

@blackbolt2003 seems like you’re taking this harder than you should (thats what she said lol) He’s just trolling you. We get it, you love Zelda and Nintendo.

I dont care if I have to wait a year or two to play it myself. Im not gonna lose my ish on not being able to play "the most critically acclaimed game in he past 20 years”. My kids entertain me more than any video game as does my wife at night lol

My last post must have been TL;DR for you as well. I am a fan of most video games, not just Nintendo and Zelda.

My argument is that you shouldn't prohibit yourself from playing a game based on resolution or other tech specs....it makes no sense.

Dont think I ever did? I was planning on buying a Wii U to play this game alone before the emulation.. you know.. Dont care if its 4k or not, I dont game on 4k. I just want a fun game and if I can play this game without buying a system, ill do it. Ill still support the company on buying the game itself, have no issues with that. None of the other Nintendo games have my attention so its no loss for me. I have all the time to wait for it, hell, it took me almost a year to finish MGS V and havent gone past the first 3 missions of battlefield 1. I dont game like I used to, so its not a problem for me.

^ I'm in same boat as you, ill just wait till the game is emulated. Ill buy which ever version is cheaper just to put money in game dev's pockets.

Nintendoguy, relax man, we know you cream your pants every time you play this game and probably go to all the forums defending nintendo. Wouldnt be surprised if there was a nintendo tattoo on the lower part of your lower back too.

I'll probably buy one when the price drops a bit, or if they offer a bundle that really interests me for a decent price. I'm very intrigued in the portability of the switch. Especially as my daughter gets a little older, it will be awesome to drop a console in her lap for a car ride instead of my phone lol. I'm not a huge gamer, but I like to play the typical mario, mario kart, smash brothers, etc periodically.

At home I don't see myself playing the switch over my xbox one much, but we go on several road trips a year to visit family and things.
