Well it's almost 4 weeks now since my fox was stolen. The neighbors camera caught it all on cam. A bunch of fishy stuff from my other neighbor to the left of me but I'll see if I have time tomorrow to post that story.
I'd mute the volume since my neighbors were talking the entire video.

Dude.... That's sad. I hope it helps you. One of my cars was stolen several years back, my Father and I hired a private detective to follow a guy we had reason to think took it. He discovered what appeared to be a suspicious garage location that the guy went to three days after. We told the police.... The officer flat out told us " we'll check it out when we can." So my Father and I checked it out ourselves when we could get there two days later. Car wasn't there and the "suspect" moved away permanently.
And the police... Yea they never even checked the garage or call me back. Thankfully insurance paid me what the car was truely worth.....
I've been there.... Best of luck!

Wow, that really sucks. A shame that the video doesn't help a lot since the license plate can't be read from that distance. Thieves are that blatant that they did this in broad daylight. So they must have known that you weren't home? Is your insurance covering the loss to your satisfaction?

Sorry bud that's a shame. Those guys were definitely rookies. Guy who got the gate left his truck door open, swung gate too hard so it closed on him, driver was horrible dropping the car a few times. With the writing on the truck door it should be easy for the police to track down these bozos. The fact that your car was on your gated property should result in additional charges being brought against these idiots. Good luck.

I had my dirtbike stolen out of my folks shed a couple years ago. It sucks and it's a disgusted feeling. I just took it as a keep my toys locked up and on camera lesson. However, nothing stops a thief 100%.

^^^ not entirely true, pretty sure a shotgun would stop them, haha. All jokes aside, that does suckered and hopefully you can catch these idiots. I have cameras in two different locations on my property. One is obvious, the other is not, and I've never had any issues. My old neighborhood had a few cars broken into, but nothing to crazy, and unfortunately I didn't have the cameras at the old house. Live and learn!

Took them long enough. If one passerby had stopped to ask them what they were doing I bet they would have dropped and run.

wat a bunch of fuking amateurs! thats so pathetic! I hope the cowards that stole it are watching this knowing that they shudnt quit their nite job (probably selling drugs) cause those were the most pathetic car thieves I've ever seen!

I've seen 18 wheelers get hooked up and moved quicker then that!

the problem with tow trucks with dollys is anytime someone sees a tow truck towing a car they jus think its legit and some tow guy jus towing a car away for legit reason....

too bad u didn't have Lo-jack cause up here in the northeast if u got Lo-jack u get ur shit back in a couple hours!

damn that sucks. that takes balls to do that in the day time. theyre probably repo men which are known for being pretty shady. and yeah most people seeing that probably wouldnt think twice about it. it would be 100x more suspicious at 1am then 3pm.

a couple of big dogs would have kept them from opening up that gate. that little ankle biter just ran out into the street and then back in the driveway, probably yapping at them the whole time.

Any update? Have the police followed up at all? Seems like it couldn't be that hard with the truck having all those particular markings.

id be looking up every repo and two business in the area to track that truck down. even though that guy sucks at towing a car in a hurry he obviously has a professional business. now that i think about it, probably not repo since there is a business sign on the door. repo usually is discreet. so its probably some low level tow company

Well let's get started on the story. No car or parts have been discovered. Here's some info on the car if anyone local to San Antonio has info on anything.

93 foxbody 32k miles black paint with black interior. Main parts list include on3 turbo ptp turbo blanket and y pipe also. Typical foxbody mods like heads, intake, cam, gears you know just about everything has been touch besides the stock block. Also had built 4r70w with quick 1 controller.

Well on February 21st I left for work at 7:15 am. I get a call at 11am from my wife said the mustang is missing The car was suppose to be at home. (My wife is a stay at home mother) I rush home called the cops and told everyone on my contacts list to make a post on fb and spread the word. On the home my wife asked the neighbors next to us on the left side. They said they saw "nothing". Well I got home at the same time the cop did. Automatically I notice tow truck scraps on my driveway. I knew 2 of my neighbors had cameras corner house (2 houses down from me). So waited for them to come home. We saw on cam the truck but was so far away couldn't make anything out. We left it as a white tow truck with bunch of logos. Wasn't until I got this video from my neighbors on my right that we were able to tell it was a older dodge with a sling tow truck. My neighbor in the corner house with the cameras said someone on Facebook notice the tow truck. It's "E P auto sales" googled the name got the address. Sent my buddy who lives 5 minutes from there to check it out and it was there! Before I head over there my mother in law came to pick up my daughter. While she was picking my daughter my wife told her mom we found the tow truck. This is were it gets interesting while she is telling her mom that the neighbors to the left that know "nothing" were outside. Well we head over to the stealership picked up my 2 buddies before and yep was the truck sprayed primer on the logos and sling tow thing in the bed was missing. We called the police and they were questioning us like I stole something and broke into private property. They call up the owner and says the tow truck was stolen 6 hours before mine was. I'm thinking I'm sol. Seemed legit for a second. Until I was getting home I got a call from a friend said some girl on Facebook had information. I ended calling her up. She told me she was my neighbor to the left that had no information prior to us finding out who own the tow truck. She told me her parents own the stealership and tow truck. She lives there with her boyfriend and his parents. But your telling me they broke into your dads business and knocked a 10 foot gate to drive 25 minutes to come steal my car. That's just odd you live next door with scum bags boy friend and friends that haven't gone over since my car was gone. I know where he worked and his friends. One of the friend had a Lincoln towncar With old plates. Had friend look up the plates and it's registered to a 95 chevy pick up with no good address. We tried to do a stake out and follow him after work one day. He noticed and lost us. For a couple days we noticed he wasn't using th towncar any more but started using a older chevy car with the same plates for the 95 truck. Called up the detective which hasn't done anything and still hasn't. But he said they couldn't do anything about it unless he was driving when they spot him. Well gave up with the detectives and wife started looking into the neighbors got all there Facebook and bam found the Lincoln town car guy. Looking further into his Facebook found his parents and well ended up getting the address to his home. The Lincoln and chevy were there but no mustang. I know he knows and Juan the neighbor know where my car is. Can't seem to follow them either they know if I do cause I tried before. And this leads me to nothing.

Also wanted to add my car usually sits in the garage but we had a bunch of fencing material in it right now for my back yard. Another thing I had a big dog but she died Christmas Day from old age. The Pom Pom is more aggressive than she was but she would still scare people away. I have been looking into another dog but just scared cause my daughter who is almost 2 would get attacked. I trust dogs but you will never know.

People were saying it was insurance scam but I didn't have full coverage so it was a total lost on my end. I still spend countless hours driving around looking for info or parts.

**** man, so sorry to hear and I really feel for you. 12 years ago yesterday, 3/20, my Incon TT 93 LX was stolen I hope those pieces of garbage are caught. Just watching the video has brought back the horrible feelings I felt after walking out and seeing my drivers side window laying on the ground where the car was parked and memories of having to ID the car a month later I hate thieves.

Thanks for the story. Sounds like they have already moved the car. Watch Craigslist for your parts. Your wife should be more vigilant for a stay at home mom/wife.
