Pulled the trigger, this will be the coming out present for the GT350.

I also pulled the trigger a few days ago. Expected to ship second week of April. Are you going to replace trunk lid or cover the holes up? I'm going with a carbon fiber trunk lid. Or if I can find a good used OEM replacement in magnetic...

I got the carbon cover, but I was thinking of making a flashing brake light tied into a deaccelerometer and mounting that there.

You could get the stripes from somewhere like Big Worm Graphix. But the issue will be matching the same color, thickness, depth, and material as OEM. Might not be too bad since the stripe is isolated from the others on the trunk, but if it's not exact then you are kind of stuck
Just to shed some light on purchasing the stripes. When I purchased my car, I asked the dealer not to mount the front plate bracket. When I went to pick up the car, the bracket was mounted. I was totally pissed with them, so they made good and ordered just the bumper stripes and filled the holes. When I pointed out some issues on the hood stripes, they also ordered them for me for spares too. They all came individually packaged with part numbers.

its not a R ..... I agree ..... doesnt change my mind though

You take a R and a GT350 with the R rims and R track tires it be a real close race

The R should win because its slightly lighter and different suspension set ups from the factory but not by much ....

I agree exactly with what you are saying. Sometimes people are too dense to get it.

Not taking anything away from the R ...... the R is unique and a very limited production car with a high Adm fee. At the dealer I work at I could have gotten a R but chose the GT350 since my car is a daily driver. Didnt want to take a chance in wrecking a $3500 carbon fiber wheel which by the way is cool as hell nor having some idiot break my $13000 rear wing. Those who have a R its a hell of a car .... and I am sure they were bought in part for track events ..... not all mind you. I will track my car but I be lucky to see a road course once every few years
