Alrighty, I came across a good deal on some new rubbers as I'm needing some new tires here. Going with Nitto Nt555r's 305/40/18 in the rear, and Nitto Nt555 G2 275/40/18 up front. Will I have clearance issues with the 275 up front? Rubbing on strut tower or anything like that? Ive got Koni yellows and ebiach sportlines for suspension mods. Curious to know if this setup will fit with no rubbing issues. Anyone put a 275 up front? Couldn't find the G2 in a 45 series so it would be the same height but I'll just have to deal with it. Im at 660whp and I drive the car pretty frequent in the summer months so the Nt555r's suited me better than the Nt05R would. I also do road course once or twice a year, guessing ill have to get a set of R888. The 555'rs I feel like wouldn't handle the turns so well being a DR. Any input would be appreciated.

We have 285's up front on my uncles 07 with no issues so I don't see 275's being a problem. Yes you will want to switch out your drag radials for something better suited for the road course like the R888. The drag radials won't have the best side wall for the road course and they wouldn't last long.

+1

I run NT01 275's on all 4 corners for road course duty.

Thanks for the responses. If anyone is looking for a deal on tires. Discount tire on ebay I'd having a $100 off on all orders over $450. I made 2 so I got $200 off and free shipping.

Sent from my SM-G930V using the svtperformance.com mobile app

Just to add to this..Sometimes your purchase may not quite get to $450. I was at $426 for a pair of Invo's and added a pair of gloves to get to the $450.

Yes, I'm running NT555G2 (staggered) on the street. Had them for about 3 weeks now. I'm at 590 RWHP.

How do you like them and how is the grip? Size? I may be looking at these for another one of my cars.

So far so good on the street. I haven't pushed them that hard yet, but they do seem to hold well around spirited corners. I find them pretty comparable to my old Continental DW. Running 255/19 and 285/19.
