All the grease guns I have are 10 year old crap low end models from an auto parts store. I'm due for an upgrade. Is there anything out there worth buying in the $30-40 range?

Out of that price range, but I have now bought 2 Milwaukee battery powered units for the guys at work. Worth the weight in gold.

I've never spent big money on grease guns being in construction. Seems like they are always getting left out or misplaced. And never like the pistol grip, when doing a whole machine your hand gets wore out!

But I'm going to give that lock a try

Used both Lincoln and dewalt greasers. I absolutely love them! Greasing a triple axle boat trailer before a trip and before leaving gets super old super fast
Like stated above worth its weight in gold.

I have yet to find a manual one that doesnt leak out out of everywhere when sitting in my shed during the hot Louisiana summers. I'm not talking a bout the tip. I mean where it screws together, bleeder areas etc. It's like a liquid.
