Is anybody running the Shelby Recaros up front but standard rear seats in the back? I've been looking for months to get the matching rears but striking out. Curious how the two different designs look together in case I'm stuck with at look

I think the recaro equipped cars have the same rear seat covers as the standard seats.

Check ebay, there have always been take off seat covers when I've looked. I don't think there's any difference in the rear seat upholstery between Recaro equipped and the standard front seats.

Problem is my car is an 07 which means the rear seats are different all together ,so buying just the skins is not an option. If you notice the newer models have taller backseats with headrests compared to the 07-09 models. There is also a different design from the Recaro's to the rear seats in these years.

Still not sure what you're getting at. Recaros or not, the rear seats remain the same.

I have an 07, bought Recaros out of a 13 but just the front seats . The rear seats on 07-09s are a different skin pattern than rears on a 13-14. I'm having trouble finding rear seats so I was looking to see if anybody's in the same boat as me and have mismatching seats. Check out a few posts above for comparison, I put 2 links up showing the difference

Might hit some bone yards and see if you can find the rear seat out of a later model mustang.

Oh, I get what you're saying now. I have my rear seats out and will sell them to you. Never been used, except for holding a jacket or two or when I was detailing the rear compartment. They have the silver stripes, though, so you'd have to have those dyed. That is, unless you don't want the flip up rear headrests.

I put Recaros in my '09 and used a full set of skins from a '13 that I purchased from Dean Martin. I never used the rear skins and should have them in a box in the house somewhere if you are interested.

I think I have a complete set of skins for an '07-'09 that I got from Shelby in Vegas if anyone was interested in them too.

The problem with buying 13 skins is the different rear seats from 07-09. So unless I find seats from a 13+ skins won't work unless I go custom. I'm going to poke around and see if a pair turns up. Premi mentioned I could dye a set that had the stripes but I've never looked into dying leather. I'd have to look into it more but might be an option

I have a set of 13-14 gt500 black with black stripe rear covers I'd sell you cheap but you would have to get the rest of the seat somewhere

ya the covers pop up here and there, it's the seats that are hard to find. Convertibles even harder

I solved that problem by putting in a Latina Seca rear seat delete kit, and powder coated the bar white to match the front stripes in the Recaro sears. Looks factory and allot of people don't even realize that the seats never came with the car. Which is the look I was going for.
