Greetings. I have a coilover question. I am setting up my 99 Cobra convertible with front coilovers and rear standard springs. What I currently have are 03 Bilstein struts and shocks, MM castor camber plates, MM coilover kit, and H&R race rear springs. I was thinking 325# front coilover springs. I don't race nor daily drive. Just looking for reduced brake dive and body roll when I take the car out for some fun. Any ideas to recommendation are appreciated.

I run MM Sport coilovers all around with 375# front springs and 125# rears. It's pretty stiff, but I still have all my fillings, so it's not too stiff. I love them. I would not go coilover front and rear coil springs. It gets hard to figure out the proper rates. Most springs these days are a variable rate so it is hard to tune the fronts. I think you would be fine with the rate you are looking at though. You should talk to MM. Their staff has heard it all and are usually very helpful. They even helped me with parts I bought used and not through them.

Thanks. I talked to Maximum motorsports. Tech help said I should be good to go. My wheel spring rate will be pretty close (292.5 front, 254 rear) I figure if I don't like the rear I can always upgrade to coilovers.

I run 350# in the front and 550# in the rear. Bilstein shock/strut with hypercoil spirngs and the MM coilover kit. I also run the MM strut tower brace in the front. Not sure if it does anything, but I will tell you a rear shock tower brace does make a difference. I have one and I purposely drove down a road where I felt body roll in the rear and I don't anymore with the rear shock brace.
