hmm. i never was able to get my JLT RAI heat shield to fit right.

Thanks! What size/make filter were you using?

for some reason, JLT sent me the huge 9" filter that goes with the CAI, instead of the shorter one. i had to pick up a new filter from K&N, i think it's morel ike a 5-6" cone.

still, the shield has never fit right, so i wind up not using it.
