Bought the GT500 version by mistake instead of for a 4.6L 3V 07 Mustang GT and tuner didn't want to deal with adapters and such or something like that

you do realize all the 3v id1000's are just the GT500's with purple hat adapters from ID ......so either way your dealing with adapters

Yup but didn't feel like arguing with the tuner and I think he really just wanted to use the Bosch 80lbs instead.
