i find it funny that people are saying this and have no clue what the movie or show is about. Why are some white men so afraid of the change that is happening? Are you afraid that you have to compete for jobs and opportunities instead of them being gifted to you like they were for your dads and granddads?

While I agree that GT Premi only seems to come out for these threads, KingBlack and 2kblack do not. When they do comment, they usually make a great deal of valid points. And I argue against their points a lot of times.
To dismiss that anyone of them may have dealt with oppression or racism, or even still do, would be ignorance. Racism is still strong in May people.
However, I am arguing that racism exist just not towards The black community or even just people of non white heritage. I believe we are seeing politicians, media, entertainment profiting off of using events that could be racism.
I'd gladly buy GT Premi, KingBlack, 2KBlack a drink and listen to why their view point is what it is.

You already know why I made such am absurd comment...to counter with an equivalently absurd comment as KingBlack made. Everything else was laid out...I hate that I even have to go to the fact that most of my friends are hispanic, black, Palestinian, etc...sounds cliche, but it's true..& I voted Trump, but for far different reasons than people claim I did. I'm for unity, desegregation, etc. Black, white, etc. aren't skin colors anymore, it's a mindset..if you don't think a certain way based off of your color, you're not that color... Look at this video, a black service member injured in the war cant get a HAIRCUT from a white barber on a medical ship
Now, lets say this barber came home from the war and became a banker.
Do you think he would give a home or business loan to a qualified black man a loan? You're fooling yourself if you dont think this happened. I'm completely and totally open to discuss my feelings on the subject on the phone (or any other media) with anyone that is willing to have an adult conversation. some questions I have:
Why do we never ear of the black service members that were the first to invade Normandy?
Why didn't the black service members from WW2 get their entitlement of gi bill education?
Why didn't the black service members from WW2 get their entitlement of VA home loans?
There wasnt a middle class until these programs were offered, and these things allowed families to build wealth so that it could be passed down to their children. These things have generational effects. It's hypocritical to complain about the title or content of a show yet attack a person when they complain about unjust actions that affect their life.

This is an example...this was also around the Alton Sterling riots & fits what was going on around here. A few weeks later we were on airboats saving these people that were calling for the killings of whites...the baton rouge floods cleansed the area of the hate for sure, cuz they were sure screaming for our white asses to save em.
You can apply singular incidents to a whole race, just like I can...we can go round & round all day. Racism exists..it also exists within races & on both sides...It doesn't define you or me & it'll never define my journey or yours...Let's leave it at that.

you can review all 4000 plus of my post, i dont generalize. if i attack it is always at the individual. I never said you didnt work hard or earn or etc. I simply said that anyone that thinks that all people got the same opportunity as white men have historically in America are fooling themselves.

That group of people destroyed numerous businesses & attacked white people..there's tons of videos of it. This was the guy that got shots sisters response to all of it the next day.
As a white man that is a minority in a city that's majority black..and came from impoverished conditions..I'd put money on it that I was oppressed more than you were. I was limited on assistance due to my skin color, I was treated like shit since I was a minority, & a white guy in the projects is hella more suspicious than a black guy...I mean Lil Wayne even spoke out on the matter & he's from Hollygrove. Kevin Gates is from Baton Rouge. People got mad at their responses.
My only privilege is that I was privileged to have great parents..a hard working father & a nurturing mother. That's my privilege..& statistically speaking, you can call that my white privilege since whites are more privileged in the sense that a larger percentage of us have fathers. I guess that's my white privilege. But pleaseeeee...let a white boy step foot in a predominately black hood. You just don't know, so stop speaking with these general assumptions. We are all the ****ing Waltons & grew up in the burbs sipping our sweet tea & lounging around with no worries.
