i think that if i ever decide to sell mine, i will try to put it as much back to stock as i can first, and then sell the go fast parts separately. but of course i would disclose that the cars had previously been modded.

Don't do it. You have two of the best colors.

I'm not trying to stir or troll.....intentionally....

This is just "me"......

if I buy a car and it already has a tune and hand held tuner, and more power than stock, that is approx $800.00 for me if the car DID NOT have it. By including that in your sale, a potential buyer does not have to come up with more money, nor explain to the wife why he needs more money after just spending $18k+ on a car.....

If the car was HEAVILY modded; Whipple, SOS Pods and gauges and True Forged wheels, polished 3" Bassani etc.....than yes I would still leave that stuff on until I rec'd an offer on the car.

Mods do not add to the value of a car, but again, to some buyers it may be worth it to them.

So for example: Buyers budget is $18,000 but I want $23,000 for the car. I meet him in the middle now, and pull the stuff that's not included with the sale for that price mark. (wheels, exhaust, etc).

Not at all trying to start anything just explaining. It is your car and I am not buying, unfortunately.

Post it for sale......than you will know. GL with your sale

I say leave it ..

Stock exhaust is 1st thing gone. .
Handheld is a must have

If I was buying again and wanted stock I would want under 10k miles also...

I think car should sell fast..

Does car need to pass emissions to sell In California?

Yes it does. It's 100% the sellers responsibility. Luckily it's only an obd2 port plug in and inspections. No sniffer.

There is nothing listed that you will make more money from.

I'd leave as is.

If you had a big blower, nice headers or stuff like that, I'd say take them off. That's what I did when I sold my car and made more money in the end.

I'm a new Terminator owner. I looked at adds for cars for months (6),so I can tell you what I was thinking. Mileage mattered to me, I was looking for 30k or less no mods. Mostly because of the drag race rep. Cobras have. My fear was buying a car that had motor, trans, or rearend probs. I could miss and have to deal with after spending lots of $ on a moded car. I think your mods are not over the top and anyone with experience (through a friend or owning) looking in the 18k range will be interested in your car as is. Showing that it's been well maintained and not having to spend more on mods they would do anyway is a plus. My thinking is based on the mileage, you can't turn the clock back to 10k.

just a tip....don't waste your time on craigslist. For high dollar cars, no one has money. People look on craigslist look for cheaper cars. ...post her up on SVTP and autotrader as well. Also....be patient. The market won't pick up til spring. Right now is THE worst time to sell.

Good point!
I'll get her all cleaned up and post on there.
Thank you

That's messed up..what if car had blown motor..you can't sell?
I think you'd have to sell it as a "non op"

Got it all ready for smog. stock tune, factory midpipe and now I just need to put some miles on it to reset the sensors. Then she'll be posted up on here, Craigslist and autotrader.
Thanks for the input guys.
