Hey Guys,

I did an auto swap a while back. The car is a 2013 GT Primi with a WYN4 ecu. The tech here at my ford dealership got my ecu to fully accept my original VIN that's on the body of the car. He could not get my stock/existing ABS Module to program. So I bought a new one. The new abs module part number matches the donor VIN and my original VIN.

Well the new ABS Module will not program to my car and we don't know why. This is what the ford software is saying.

Anyone know how to get it to program?

Did your Tech attempt to manually load the as-built data from the donor VIN's car?

Yes he did try to do it manually. I believe he said the as-build data was the same from both VIN's. I could be wrong.

The tech also said it wouldn't matter if my tune was in the car or not. When he tried to program it, my aftermarket tune was in the car. IDK if that makes a difference.

I'm actually going through this exact pain right now with my auto to manual swap. When we swap in the new manual PCM, the abs module claims it's incompatible with the auto abs module. Then when we go back, it's happy. We're digging a bit and see that it might be possible that the HCU needs to be swapped along with the abs module.

This seems like a hit/miss problem as I've heard others who have gone through this swap and not had issues with their abs module.

Having the same issue with my 2012 Shelby Auto swap. it acts like it programs but the lights dont kick off. The ABS works though.
