hmmm...after reading some amazon reviews I guess this unit is hit or miss =(My mtx l shit the bed really quickly, the actual gauge itself actually crapped out in roughly 2-3 months started flashing and reading incorrectly until it would shut off completely. Aem uego now and haven't had an issue since. Will never go back to innovate.
I went ahead and ordered the AEM unit. It seems like they are more reliable and well known.
I'd do some research and see if the wideband requires fresh air calibration, if it does I'd say pass. Innovates can be very fussy and can require fresh air calibrations often.
It really sucks to have to pull your wideband out of your car to do the calibration.
I personally run a Zeitronix that I bought from LaSota Racing, its the best wideband I've had so far.
I had one and yes it requires free air calibration. As me how I know I've done it at least 30 times while it was in my car.
It is super fussy and I constantly had problems with it. (Error messages).
Spoke to in innovate multiple times and they had me rewire the entire thing at least 3 times. They kept saying it was a bad install, not enough voltage, blah blah.
I finally got fed up and took it out. Changed to aem and it does not require free air calibration and has worked flawlessly.
