Not that I'm aware, had a GT harness for my Magnum and everything plugged right in MINUS having to add the reverse lockout plug (03 ECU & Engine Harness though so easy). Being both T-56 can't think of what would change, same transmission same O2 setup. Could be wrong though.

Curious myself now, I mean the ECU pinout is the same as well as the sensors, actuators, and main harness it hooks up to. Hope one of the gurus comes in and puts this to bed.

The midpipe is different on the 04. I believe the wiring harness length is different on certain pigtails to make it fit better.

Interesting, learn something everyday on SVTP. This would only be an issue using a stock mid-pipe though right since there aren't 03 and 04 specific mid-pipes?

@cj428mach lol, see I told you know more than me and the magnum swap will be a breeze :p

Tried to compare part numbers from Ford before but trying to find that on the Fords Parts site proved more than I wanted to deal with. I forget about some of the great user sites with knowledge distilled down to the good stuff.

Actually, I'd say the complete and correct info is on the site I linked!

When using aftermarket mid-pipes, you have to get O2 sensor extensions for '04's - also mentioned in my link.

Some more here on the mid-pipes:

Thanks for the all the info guys, One more question because im not under the car to look right now. I Know each O2 plug is a different color but is it possible to plug them in backwards as far as driverside on the the passenger side?

They can't be installed "backwards" - the plugs are different for each side. That is why they are color coded and have different part numbers for each. They can be seen in the mid-pipe picture from the link I posted, but it's obvious when you are under the car since the harness fits only one way.
