These are the only pics I got of the vmax. 95 vmax4 800 4 cylinder 2-stroke, shaved head, port and polished, clutched, 200+studs and tuned Aaen straight pipes! I'll have to bust this old girl out soon.
I also ride in the Hayward area every year, my trail beast is an apex. It's hard to beat the sound of them apex's/rx1's

I've never had the "pleasure" of making it to Hurley haha. Certainly heard lots of stories though

A lot of fun. Hardly any lakes though, which I'm not used to and I enjoy the most. My sleds a lot more at home on the lake than trails.

Never been to Tomahawk but pass it on the way up every time.

I always keep an eye on CL for a nice VMax 4. Would make a great sled for the Fox River.

My buddy's parents have a place right by the LCO Casino. It's nice get to keep my sled there and stay for free. Hopefully we can get up there for New Years if trails are rideable.

Tell you what gentlemen. If you love riding, you should all make your way up to Northern Maine. Incredible trails. Look me up if you do.

To be honest, most sleds don't sound terribly great to me. The only exception is those Yamaha Apex that had the exhaust run out the back under the seat. Those things sound amazing

I wish I could find a video of my old TCat 1000 from circa 2001ish. Modded to the hilt. >220HP N/A and 9,000+rpm. The sound would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. It was a freaking rocket. I miss that thing.

There's just something so relaxing about hangin in the garage wrenchin on the sled with some rum and coke after a long work week.

Looks like the northwoods are getting dumped on!!! Woot woot! Possible 6-9 in my neck of the woods this weekend. Trails here don't open till the 15th....might have to bang some ditches lol

That sucks. Did the regulator go out and fry the ECU? Part of the joy of toys.

Blew up my last sled, 670 HO MXZ for the second and last time, like 5 minutes into the first day of my trip years ago. Rode a friends back up sled for the next 4 days.

yeah headlight and dash started flickering, and went out
that's when the regulator sent 30v to the ECU and smoked it.

Polaris isn't standing behind any of the issues as usual.

What are you guys running for carbides?

I busted one of my Bergstrom
triple points the other night. Been tossing around the idea of trying out some Stud Boy Shapers since they're about half the price

That is awesome! I rode for 15 years before the go pro, wish I had captured this type of footage. Greatest sport ever, want to get back in bad!

This was a video I made of that trip. It was the first GoPro vid I had ever put together.
