DAMN. Hell of a setup! Are those branded nozzles or repurposed from another application? Custom controller?

Very much appreciate you sharing that pic.

Thanks man! It took years prior to 2009 to come up with this setup. The main problem is inaccessibility to the nozzles once they are installed. My initial attempt with this setup resulted in the nozzles being too large.... so off came the intake to change them. My second attempt worked and still works today.

Notice the braided stainless? Not the cheap plastic that another vendor sells....

On our MAF equipped cars, this sensor is practically the only way to trigger the system, BUT I've found that MAP sensors work better. So I use a GM 3-bar MAP sensor (Turbo Buick Grand National) for my trigger. I also use it to datalog boost. The sensor resides within this custom made inverted "U" bracket I made (circled).

My entire setup is Alky Control. Julio is the best dude to work with and has helped me every step of the way.

As you guys may or may not know, I tune my own cars with SCT software. I've been doing this since 2008, when SCT released my processor code.

I've been thinking long and hard about becoming a dealer, which gives me the ability to tune for others. I live in the Tucson metro area (> 1 million) and there are no tuners here that I know of. But more importantly, I would not discourage using methanol.... just the opposite..... and I know how to tune these, based on my own experience. This thread really makes me think that I should do this..... hmmm.....

San Diego for now, but hoping to get out to Phoenix sometime this year. Lived in Ticson for a number of years. Miss that little town.

The Alky Control looks far and away superior to anything Snow makes. Heavy duty, durable come to mind. When the time comes, im going to give them a call. Maybe build an 8 nozzle setup into that bottom intake pan

Damn! Looks good willie! I've only seen one other one that they plumbed like that in an 03/04 intake but it wasn't near as nice as yours. Nice work! I'd be interested to hear iat's and how much you were able to advance timing

Let me know if you decide to buy a NX system. I'll have a really nice setup for sale in the next couple months. NX GT500 throttle body plate system with carbon fiber bottle, billet heated bottle brackets, cup holder switch plate, and NOS Launcher controller.

Ill certainly consider it, though it depends how much cash i have. It may be in my best interest to uograde my axles first before i jump into a nitrous kit. PM when you know more about when it comes off.
