We took a customers 2012 GT to the track for testing and sorting out any bugs before the customer picks it up. Ended up running 8's with a few minor tweaks!
The owner is a Paralyzed vet and drives this car with Hand controls. T-brake, 2-step, and Chute along with steering and gas all by hand. Needless to say it is very important we work out any and all potential bugs before giving the car back.

Car has an Aluminator 9.5:1 engine and a KB 2.8L with FRPP Monoblade pushing 18psi. The most power we've seen out of this car on the dyno is 780 SAE.
Just goes to show what a properly setup car can do without excessive amounts of power.

Video is the 9.0 pass right off the trailer.

car works, it is a glide car, freeing up some rwhp and lighter than a 6r80. great to see someone with a physical disability still pursuing their passions. hope they get great enjoyment out of it.

Yeah it's a Glide setup. The 780RW SAE was thru the 6R80. With the glide numbers were 715 SAE.

The low compression killed ~60HP compared to the stock motor, that's equivalent to 2-3psi boost, and since it is low compression it did not pick up as much on E85 as we see with 11:1 setups. She needs a LOT more boost, and the plan was to go Turbo but since she's already in the 8's I'm not sure how much farther the customer wants to go with the car.

My Partner Drew setup this car, weight has been reduced but not as much as you would think, it's a glass roof car and legal for 8.50's (proper cage). The real key is the suspension. 1.325 60ft FTW

Awesome! Can you share the suspension setup?

No, I can't post anything about it.
I've been told it's super secret custom stuff made out of Unicorn blood. LOL
It's like nothing you'd find on any other Coyote, very trick.

Your car is no slouch either. Drove her around on low boost the other day to make sure Flex fuel was working correctly and that CPR turbo setup is amazing. 2psi less boost than the TVS with the same fuel and same timing and once boost kicks in on the turbo the power curve looks identical to the TVS with just a touch more power.
