these cars make good power yesterday was my first dyno tune on this car with the mods in my sig 381hp/364tq corrected and I can say with auto that's not bad plus the car just feels a lot stronger with all the correct transmission tuning. So with the E85 and cai and the boss 302 intake looking to crack 400rwhp

Just a little update! Got my injectors in today and installed them as well. Installed Shauns base tune to datalog. Still haven't put E85 in it yet. Car feels amazing even on the base 93 tune! Keep you guys updated!

The only thing I can think of positive about running E85 on N/A car with no cats... The exhaust smells a hundred times better. But for the added workload on the fuel pump and the 150 miles a tank full. on a daily driver the increased workload on the fuel pump is the 10 to 15 added HP worth it. If the car sits for long period is the water in the E85 going to cause damage to the injectors.
I guess the big question is E85 really worth it on a NA car. If you like replacing parts sooner than running gasoline. Me personally I hate spending money on replacing parts when that same money can go to other mods instead of part replacement. If it does break it looks like an upgrade for that part is justified.

The injectors are fine. The issue with e85 is the increased possibility of burning up one of your o2 sensors. Btw I get 220-250 miles on a full tank of e85

The fuel pump won't fail while NA due to the added "load". There's more then enough fueling

Well everything is in! Filled it up with E85 and drove around lightly to let ECU learn it. Car for sure feels snappier, and the smell of high flow cats is gone, it gives off a quite pleasant smell! So far I love it, now I gotta see if I actually gained a few ponies out of it soon! Mileage isnt too bad, I get around 14-15 without stepping into it. So far so good! Keep you guys updated.

E85 is more than just peak power. Its dcr mprovements throughout the rpm range. TORQUE. dynamic compression ratio. Manipulation the intake cam for maximum cylinder pressure. POWER

Sadly no. I did have the clutch replaced in mine so I've been running 93 for a bit for now, no need for E85 since I won't be ragging on it. I think I already said this earlier but I love the E85! And the car does as well, just feels like it wants to go all the time, I can feel a difference in power too! Only thing is cold starts are kind of weird, even in warm weather. But that is typical with E85 and it's not even a big deal at all. I'll keep you posted if anything pops up! Have you done it yet?

I will also add the Shaun@AED's tune is spot on. The car just feels simply amazing whether it's 93 or E85. I had the steeda 93 tune before and no comparison. If you ARE going to do E85 tune or flex fuel tune, I 100 percent highly recommend him to tune your car. You will not be disappointed one bit, I promise.

The biggest difference on a NA car of E85 vs pump gasoline is that you don't have to worry about knock retard and everything runs a little cooler.

I'm currently getting a flex fuel tune from Lund. I installed a CJ intake with ford racing air intake and the LU47s. The base 93 tune I got feels soooo weird... so hopefully it can be revised. Just sent my datalog to them.

What kind of ballpark numbers could the CJ and corn put my car at? Lol. Question asked so many times but I'm looking for a ballpark.

I dynoed just the other day, with Flex tune from Lund on E85 here in TX. MT82 car Mods are JLT, Boss Manifold, Catless Xpipe, Res Delete, Corsa axle backs, with 47lb injectors

Car made 406/353... Timing was hitting 31deg. Didnt get an accurate AFR reading, but the dyno owner (very respected area tuner) said it looked a lil lean for what he would aim at.

I was def expecting a little more. what you guys think?

I would think with the boss the hp number would have been higher

thats what im thinking. maybe really crappy E85? Im not sure. Car runs great and pulls very hard. I was just thinking I should be much higher. Especially when a guy I know with same mods... only difference being Ported Boss and TB made 408 on 93...

Guys have an insight?
