Dyno is just a tuning tool, numbers can read anything they want - how does the car run?

No kidding, change the load and jack with the weather perimeters and you can make a stock prius show 400+HP

I have nothing but respect for your feats to date. You cannot outshift me. Nobody can.

That is the boldest statement of the decade

OP any videos yet? Seems a bit odd that you boast about the cars power / performance

yet have NO videos? :)

Odd you say? Odd to whom?

I have to be a child and video everything I do or it's 'odd'?

Lol. I'll go buy a go pro just for you. Was I boasting? Is a fact boasting? I think not. Car performs as it should with a piece of crap clutch and transmission

^^^ exactly.

I am curious to see if his car makes the 440+ in the correct gear (5th) and if his car runs low 11's since it pulls as hard as he says it does.

Not doubting the CJ setup with cams, but it seems he is looking for higher than normal dyno numbers to gloat.

My CJ with stock motor, boltons only and 93 octane made 443/388 in 5th gear on a properly calibrated dynocom with knock in the mid and upper range. We also have no idea if his numbers are STD or SAE and if he is on SF which shows more accurate numbers.

The dyno is a tuning tool. I ran ours on a dyno jet to dial in the cam timing with the baby cobra jet cams. I don't have the dyno sheet with me but the car made 406 to the tire.

It race weight is 3700 pounds and has run 11.28 at 120 mph in 1000 da. Mods are in my signature.

Exactly why we want to see a slip.

Sometimes cars make crazy numbers, and can't back it up at the track
Sometimes car make realistic numbers, and back it up at the track.
But rarely do cars make crazy numbers AND back it up at the track, but it does happen time to time, factory freak cars

What are "baby CJ" cams, specifically?
Baby CJ cams are a low lift exhaust cam set with high duration. They originally cost about $159 and offer the same duration as the CJ race car cams but with an 11mm lift.

Got a tune from Shaun yesterday for the exhaust cams. I'm going to a dyno day at Bryant's performance in Decatur Alabama. I'll have new numbers then. It feels like it's supercharged at lowxto mid rpms even with a baseline tune

My car on Shaun's dyno on 91 oct and baby CJ cams made 466 rwhp and that was through the stock resonators and stock over the axle pipes. It's on e85 now and has a better exhaust, it is probably closer to 485 rwhp now. It also holds the record for the fastest NA coyote in Utah.

This is where I get pissed off lol. My car with VERY similar mods to yours made 440 on a mustang dyno. What is with the disconnect between dyno types?

Mustang dynos typically made less, but at a 10% difference your close to me. I bet we make very similar power. Take it down to the track and see if it runs better than the crowd of other coyotes, a faster mph will be your best indicator of power. Plus I have headers and if I remember correctly your on the stock manifolds.

The whole package matters. Mustang dyno can read lower or higher depending on loading settings.

Dynojets read different depending on roller weight.

Find a 5400lb roller Dynojet and see how it compares.

It loads the engine more than your car. There is a huge difference between headers, xpipe, and mufflers and getting overaxles. Overaxles change the power from idle to 7800.

440 hp that I made with with a 10% difference is 484hp plus whatever I would pick up with legitimate E85 fuel. I just want to see what it pulls on a dynojet at this point because 484 seems really high without long tube headers. Maybe I can find a dynojet in Minnesota and see what she pulls on there. Either way I picked up 90-100 horsepower with all of my mods, so I am very happy with that.
