Hey guys first poster here. I wasn't sure if I should of posted on suspension or here but I tried here. I have a buddy with a built NA sn95 cobra that's kinda sick. But takes off the line hard and grips good. Everyone knows the termi has bad wheel hop and off the line it's not as good as 2nd 3rd gear etc. what do I need to get to stiffen the chassis, harder grip, etc? I already have subframe connectors and 315 street tires. Suspension is stock and have the normal bolt ons and ported blower. Need anymore info please just ask I'll give all. And thanks for letting me join.

A lot of people here have installed Bruce's bushing kit for the IRS and are very satisfied. His online name is ac427cobra and his company name is Full Tilt Boogie Racing.

Here's a link http://fulltiltboogieracing.com

There are several stages of bushings but most people get all of them since the installation is work intensive and is done with the IRS down from it's mounting. The bushing will minimize or eliminate the wheel hopping problem that has damaged so many axles.

But if you really want to stiffen your chassis look at the Stifflers Spider Brace kit and the FIT system. They also make a first rate driveshaft loop and a strut tower brace. Along with a huge number of other chassis stiffening parts

http://buystifflers.com/

Both companies are members on here and offer members discounts, as does Late Model Restorations.

My favorite sub-frame connectors are trellis design Hans Racecraft if you can find them. Stiffers and Global West are a close 2nd

I have Hans Racecraft subframe connectors with the complete FTBR kit and my car has more road noise and is quite bit louder but the handling is unbelievable compared to stock and zero wheel hop car just hooks and goes now.

I never really heard of those brands but then again I didn't really go looking. I bought maximum Motorsport subframe connectors and love them. I still have a MMS strut tower brace and k frame brace to install. Currently putting a roll cage and subframe connectors in my buddies 96 cobra. I'm sure it will be stiff as hell.

Stiffler designed their parts so that if you already have welded in a set of MM FLSFC you can add their parts to it with no modification. Making the car even stiffer in twist as well as bending lengthwise.

I have a vert so it was important to firm it up. We used MM toobs and jacked them tight to the floor and skip welded them. With the solid diff and the FTBR bushings she is loud but with the top down, who gives a darn.
