Im prepping my car for bigger injectors, thankfully I have a tvs so after 30mins they're ready to come out. So much better than having to pull the blower like when I had my whipple.

Reinstalled the Mechman over the weekend. Voltage drop problem persists. And to make matters worse I now have what I'd describe as "more than a tick". Sounds more like metal on metal banging. Researching now to try and isolate this "tick / banging" sound and getting in touch with Mechman. Again. Fun times!

I dropped my coupe off at the body shop today to have the holes in the deck lid filled and have the roof re-cleared. I'll rock that look for the winter and next summer I'll reinstall the Cobra spoiler.

Just run a set of ID 2000's. You'll never have to worry about swapping injectors again. :rolling:

As for mine, I took it for a drive and paid the registration.

Changed out the GSS342 pumps to the Walbro 465s.
This is in process switching them out of my Lethal Performance Division-X hat.

Caleb @ Fastlane wrote me a new tune to drive it around on E85 and I took it to Sheetz tonight to fill it up with Flexfuel. 1.55 per gallon for the win! :D

I went 1300's, the problem with the larger injectors is the cobra computers can't handle injectors over 60lb so you have to scale to keep them them under 60lb which can be a lot of scaling. The more you scale the more issues you have with transient fueling.

I was just messing around. Aren't you switching to a different ECU?

No I'm just running a Quarter Horse and Binary Editor software on the stock ECM. The Quarter Horse is a chip that goes on the J3 port that allows for real time tuning of the stock ECM. Then once you're happy with your tune you can flash the ecm using a Drewtech Mongoose, and its a permanent flash just like using an SCT handheld. The setup is amazing!

After switching to the ID1300's the car was extremely lean on startup (pegged wideband lean) and after startup enrichment would go away the car would begin to stumble and die. In just a matter of seconds while the car was running/stumbling I was able to make changes to the tune and get the car idling at close to stoich. Then while driving I could see that the car was starting to go lean at WOT, while driving more fuel was added via the top part of the MAF curve and WOT was in the safe zone.

Also while out cruising I changed the base fuel table to all 1's and really logged the lower part of the MAF transfer so I could dial that in, when I got home. All of those changes would have taken several nights with SCT PRP. With BE and the QH it was done in under 30 mins of driving with out shutting the car off.

well after wrapping up the return fuel system I got a base tune and got an alignment done after my botched header install. Thanks GABE1530/SVTgabe/SVTBrian or whatever name you use to rip people off you cum guzzling ******.

During the E85 tuning I noticed a wobble in the rear end under WOT. Guess my wheel bearings dried up while it sat for 9 months because the wobble showed up after about 15 miles and wasnt there before. Cross axis joints were shot as well as the hubs. Replaced everything and getting another alignment tomorrow.

What happened with the member mentioned? Just want to make sure we are all aware of the issue so we can avoid it. Thanks.
