I was blessed with a track configuration we never thought I'd see again: ProAutosports "Mondo" event, tying Wild Horse Pass' Main track into Bondurant's own track. I don't like the extra-tight configuration ProAutosports runs on Main but being able to get back on the Bondurant course was worth the effort. In this session I'm running with an M2 and he gave me a workout LOL

The session before that one, I took my 13-year-old son for his first ride-along with me. He lasted 4-5 hot laps before getting car sick LOL. In the beginning, I'm pointing to where he should be looking to help keep that from happening, but this track configuration is pretty herky-jerky and it didn't help having things like Cobra replicas running stupid dual-quad carbs stupid diesel rich, blowing sickening fumes at us.

Anything that you can get your son to do with you is something that will probably stick with him forever.
I will always remember going for rides in my Dad's 1959 Bugeye Sprite. I also learned to drive in it when I was 8. It was a manual and did not have syncros in first or reverse.
He's been gone for 28 years now but I can still remember being with him in that car.
