i concur... to me it takes 1/4 of the skill of road racing... pull from pit road shift from 1-4 as you get up to speed and just stay in 4th and turn left...

lol too bad it doesnt. If you think this is easy, why are you sitting at your computer and not making millions by just turning left?

Half the people with this mindset couldnt get a sprint cup spec racecar to hit the same banks at 3/4 the speed they are if they gave you 100 laps to do it in. Yes, its simple as hitting the gas and turning the wheel.....that must be why open wheel racers are just so goddamn successful at it and make it look like childs play. Oh wait, thats right, they dont.

Not to mention these cars have this thing called torque. 900ft/lbs of it, nary a road racing car has close to that. And they arent light, so theres alot of car coming around in that corner that wants to keep going around ass end first. Imagine driving a car out of a turn at around 160-170 and it wanting to break loose in 4th gear with people inches away from you front, back and both sides.

I guess all the drivers who came from many other disciplines went to Nascar just to take it easy. Funny, cause all the ones that did it for easy money ended up sucking at it and going back to where they came from within a few seasons.

They have big power and are glorified drifters, doesn't make Nascrap any less gay. They have 9-10 cautions in a 3 hour race, yet in 24 hours Grand Am cars only had around 14....

Nascar is the special olympics of motorsport, always has been, always will be. It only has spectators because drunk red necks like one thing, car crashes. No one watches that stupid race for the finish, they watch it to see Junior flying around on his hood and some mexican blowing up a dryer truck.

lol sad response is sad.

I could say something like "bla bla 24hr grand am have two drivers and they arent going for it the entire race since its just endurance" but then id sound just as stupid as the idiots who think nascar is left turns and throttle happy rednecks.

And LOL, JPM comes from a discipline that IMO far exceeds ALMS or what have you. Two drivers take on this 24hr challenge of yours with breaks and driver changes every what, 4hrs?

[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peugeot_908_HDi_FAP"]Peugeot 908[/ame], just to name one of the "nary."

If NASCAR stock car drivers are so skilled at controlling torque and power oversteer, why is it that they don't drive in the rain?
