Somebody advise GM Marketing to call their truck the "METEOR" if they think it can kill both the Raptor and the TRX. TRX is my favorite, personally.

I'm honestly shocked that either of these trucks made it to market without your expertise! Have you applied for a job at Ford or Dodge? You should. I can't imagine how much better these trucks would be with you calling the shots in the engineering dept.

Think you may be looking at GVWR instead of curb weight. My guess is they aren't that far apart. Power to weight ratio should certainly favor the TRX comparing this year's models.

Is the TRX really that much heavier than the Raptor? Would it be heavier than a Raptor with a GT500 motor? Is there an advantage of a blown GT500 motor over a blown Hemi? For the record I think this is all speculative/rumor.

You guys must all be suspension engineers. The current generation Raptor is dead from a competitive standpoint. Ford will have the opportunity to compete with the next one.
