I've got a 2011 5.0 and got a late 14 crate engine with 15 cams/phasers etc. Spoke to a few people including VMP and they said I'll need to change the intake cams + components to 11-14 so that's why I'm doing now. Not sure if I'll need that newer wiring harness I'll see when I get the change...
I thought the ECU's were different? I've just ordered 11-14 intake cams and 11-14 timing componnet set for my 15 engine so I can run it on the 11-14 ECU etc
Yeah I mean I would just switch the whole lot back but to 11-14 if I don't need exhaust cams, it saves me another $300 in what is already an expensive fix.

Yeah I know, well I took it to a strict dyno here in the UK. We don't have many happy dynos around me! And it ran 306rwhp where with intake/tune/bassani exhaust I would imagine to see about 390rwhp on dyno jet or about 360-370rwhp on this strict dyno. It put down just shy of 400 lb/ft torque...

Right I see. Well a tuner told me that intakes will definitely need changing so I would have to use the 11-14 chains. So with the chains I also need to change the exhaust Phasers becauuse the S550 Phasers won't work with the 11-14 chains?
