Amsoil Signature Series lubricant and EaO oil filters were ran to 25K miles for the test. Since the trucks were only stopped to change the oil, the oil was in normal service to achieve this. I suggest that Signature be used for 15K miles or one year, which ever occur first, as I am conservative...
Here is what I discovered. This is a promotional video from Amsoil. That being said, professionally, they chose not to include a slam on Motorcraft directly. While the display at their convention did, the video did not.
It does not. I can defend Motorcraft saying the tolerances could have been way off from day one of the build, Amsoil nor Motorcraft would have made any difference. However, look at the cleanliness difference of the internals from the Amsoil engine.
It does not, at this time, all I have is this...
I noticed that recently, a real good deal considering. I'm curious to get into the specs of their new 20K mile oil. Wonder if they finally went back to a true group IV instead of their group III debacle.
I understand how a tapping noise will make you worried as if your engine is going to die tomorrow. Truthfully, I wouldn't use 5W-50 in a NA Coyote (not even the track pack version) if it was used solely on the street. Here is my guess as to what happened.
It's unlikely to be a bad oil filter...
In my 2014 GT with the Armageddon TT kit, I went straight for 5W-50 Amsoil. tried 10W-30 at first, but at low RPM there was a tapping in the bottom end. The turbos were lowering oil pressure too much at idle and off idle. The tapping immediately went away around 2,000 rpm. The extra viscosity of...
If you don't have oil fuel dilution issues, there is no need to change your oil more frequently than if you were setup for gasoline. Only an oil test will be able to tell you that.

What power adder? Supercharger or Turbo?
In my Armageddon TT 2014 GT I had to run Amsoil 5W-50. 10W-30 was too light, causing a tapping noise at low rpm. I guess the turbos were taking away too much oil pressure at idle and right above idle. I'd suggest using 5W-50 at your intended power level.
